Historical development module checkpoint, 7 September 2026: the six printed effects, public card custody, mobile declaration, support accounting, AI choices and readable faces are integrated. The later user-authorized [classic Advanced preview](ADVANCED_PREVIEW.md) already permits Stronghold Cards; preserve that access. Complete Advanced/expansion release and arbitrary combinations remain gated.
## Classic original Nexus composition — 18 October 2026
The rules-first classic Advanced Nexus12 entry retains original Strongholds2–6,
base33 or explicitly selected independent36, and optional all14 Skills. The six
printed effects and original custody timing remain unchanged. This effect
proof keeps Tech off; the shared core also composes original Tech3+. No
World/Discovery/native-family envelope, numerical rule or universal timing
ruling is added, and complete public-release acceptance remains gated.
`tests/fixture-nexus-core-strongholds.ts` exports
`createNexusCoreArrakeenFixture`, `createNexusCoreCarthagFixture`,
`revealNexusCoreStrongholdBattle`, `callNexusCoreCarthagTraitor` and
`finishNexusCoreStrongholdBattle`. Both scenes stop at an original pre-plan
boundary after genuine first-end-Mentat claims. Arrakeen is earned by an actual
turn-one five-reserve shipment; Carthag is retained from actual setup forces.
Only unopened decks and original deal lotteries select source cards. No
holders, hands, forces, deaths, clocks or wallets are assigned. Shared native
controls handle legal participation; the fixture supplies its explicit plans.
The worker's finite original-action programme was exercised locally; its
source and reported branches are preserved with the parent's actual control
proof in `/tmp/dune-classic-nexus-phase-18oct.json`. The executable throwaway
was removed. Observed base33/independent Arrakeen results: five physical counters
for dial6/support3, bank2/personal1; wallet7→8 includes the separate Collection2,
with two board survivors. Independent Reinforcements additionally spends three
real reserves (15→12), producing six total ordinary Tanks counters rather than
three and never adding supported fighters. Without Cunning, dial5/support5
costs personal3, consumes all five board counters plus three reserve fees, and
keeps the now-empty city's card until actual next Mentat sets it aside.
Actual Carthag runs cancel the original Harkonnen call with the genuinely drawn
Harkonnen Nexus. The physical Shield protects its holder from poison: nine
forces and the leader survive, and the Shield stays in the original hand.
All14 uses the actually trained Prana Bindu disc after the original
behind-shield choice. Omitting that defense kills the disc and all ten forces;
Atreides controls Carthag immediately, but the old holder keeps the module card
until Mentat transfers it. Original cancellation replaces one Harkonnen
Traitor at Mentat; Pass instead preserves the single-traitor win, no ordinary
winner dial casualty, unspent Nexus and no replacement.
`tests/nexus-core-strongholds-runtime.test.ts` records payment, physical-counter,
defense, custody and cleanup regressions. Parent frozen43-file439/439,
types/lint/build and actual390px Arrakeen plus trained base33 Carthag controls
pass. Initial fixture pricing/Collection assumptions were repaired against
the original Guild-ally3 tariff and separate native city2 income. No all-six
combined, full-mode, strategic or deployed acceptance claim.
