# Dune implementation status
## 25 October 2026 — Original normal auction reaches Richese Nexus purchase veto
**Ordinary-deck Richese Nexus purchase veto — 25 October. Prototyped / Partial.**
A positive native Richese ordinary win now opens the existing neutral response
before payment choice. The card’s identity is concealed. Under the selected visible
provisional convention, Use commits the physical Richese Nexus first: an actual
Richese-family card is discarded without payment/acquisition/bonus, while a miss
spends the Nexus and resumes the original purchase. Pass keeps the card. The
same closed quote never reopens. Normal spice/Karama choice, actual allied aid,
Emperor income and next-lot continuation retain their native behavior; no paid
sale or cache lot is fabricated. Public event IDs contain no card identifier.
[Printed source, protocol and boundaries](NEXUS_RICHESE_RULES.md#ordinary-winning-bid-betrayal--25-october-2026).
Three disjoint helper/controls/source lanes, bounded review and root integration
pass **17 files, 153/153**, types/lint/build and nine actual auction-action/engine/
GameTable SSR journeys. Source116 Basic/124 Advanced uses genuine original audit
initialization/setup, an actual kept cache Richese Karama spent on a real first
normal purchase, later Worm/alliance/Nexus draw, then real bid3/passes. The one
controlled recycle moves that genuinely discarded card into the still-unopened
next deck; full exhaustion/reshuffle is not claimed. Original main/cache45 and
Nexus12 remain physical. Source125 includes a real phase3 two-spice ally pledge.
Veto, pass, miss and retained native Karama payment run in both rules bands.
The Advanced pledge case preserves the original aid split; four minimal profiles
pass blind attempts. Eight helper and
six actual component callback/profile cases supplement fourteen engine cases.
These are not parent hydration, DOM/browser/mobile or deployed evidence.
Fixture feedback moves an early pledge into legal Bidding and fixes the first
unopened ordinary face so the no-Karama branch cannot accidentally buy another
Karama. Two readonly malformed-array test constructions are type-corrected;
legacy source-quote mutators only narrow the new frame union. No game rule or
start guard is weakened. Private source-bound logs/HTML:
`/home/quintine/.local/share/dune/checkpoints/20261025-richese-normal-betrayal/`.
No saved-room/D1/server/reset/restart/deployment operation or recovery campaign
occurred. Proactive immediate/private special Karama producers, wider valid
combinations, final assurance and exact-revision deployed acceptance remain due.
**Selected revival storm/HMS route reasons — 25 October.** Source review retains
the current routes: Southern's named placement does not inherit Fremen storm
shipment permission or bypass the HMS pointing-territory/Force Movement route;
Tleilax retains the Ixian direct off-planet restriction. Southern applications
are visibly provisional. Reasons replace obsolete waiting labels and identify
the route before an outside pointing-sector storm; HMS itself stays sheltered.
Existing destinations are not opened. Focused quote/control/engine/HMS files
pass in the same batch. [Policy and source limits](HOMEWORLD_REVIVAL_DEPLOYMENT_RULES.md#selected-storm-and-hms-route-policy--25-october-2026).

**Revival Terror continuation — 25 October. Prototyped / Partial.**
