Guild transport from Arrakis to Homeworlds
9 September 2026. Fresh primary-source audit for the next transport integration. This supplements the transport source update; it does not resolve the already recorded Junction payment, foreign-garrison departure, or ordinary Karama timing questions.
Separate permission and purchased price — 15 October 2026
Native Guild Arrakis-to-world and native own-world returns now have an unpaid transport-permission response before the separate rate counter. Denial preserves exact sources, funds and legal alternatives; a purchased price never restores the denied route. Common world-to-foreign-world permission remains independently available. Junction sponsorship keeps its immune Homeworld source rather than using native cross/return permission.
The supplied authorized Advanced Karama section, PDF physical16, permits any player’s Force Shipment at half normal price, paid to bank. Both typed quotes, actual controls and minimal budgets now honor that independent price and do not stack it with explicit Guild Nexus. Whole donor/own payment goes to bank, with no ordinary Guild receipt. Original manual/automatic interception and exact typed custody remain. Special-stop returns only an unclaimed original purchase cost under the existing provisional policy; actual completion consumes its grant and preserves movement. A cost recovered through Semuta keeps the price effect but cannot also be refunded, even after rediscard.
Actual390px original controls gift the auctioned Ecaz card to Moritani, ship three from Grumman to Ecaz for two bank spice, preserve Guild6 and finish the original turn. A separate original typed return allows native permission, then cancels rate: fee3, approved donor1, Guild7→6 after existing donor income, Junction15→18 and Tuek5→2. Controlled second-card special-stop instead returns the original gifted card without any departure/payment. Current authority and explicit interpretation. The subsequent immune Junction source choice keeps its original tariff/payees and explicitly acknowledges that a separately purchased price ends unused only upon actual delivery, without a card refund.
Native rate cancellation runtime — 15 October 2026
Original native Guild world-to-world, Arrakis-to-foreign-world and Junction return now pause for their separate prepayment rate response after original manual/automatic interception. Both canonical typed quotes and owner controls charge full one-per-counter only when the native rate is canceled. Exact source pools, approved ally split and original allowance persist; unaffordable release preserves a full-price replacement without debt or extra donor funds.
Junction-sponsored transport is still an immune Homeworld source, not this native faction discount. Actual original half/full offers remain2/3 for three counters after native cancellation. Cunning's typed second shipment keeps its original history and frame through the same rate stages. Deferred Betrayal retains full-price authority until actual settlement, not merely queueing.
Actual390px typed return selects Tuek5 source3 and approved donor1: Guild pays own2 at full3, receives its existing donor income1, ends7→6 with Junction15→18 and Tuek5→2; donor wallet stays11 while escrow1→0. A poor original world shipment leaves Guild1/Junction15/escrow1 unchanged after cancellation, shows disabled full3, then ships two for full2 with the same split and ends Guild1/Junction13/foreign2. No overflow/browser errors. Canonical198-case/runtime evidence and remaining source boundaries.
Route and custody contract
E3 permits Guild shipment from Arrakis to a Homeworld and classifies it as cross-shipment. Guild can return to its own Junction or invade another native faction's world; an allied destination is forbidden. Guild's ordinary alliance grant does not supply this new route to its ally. Junction's separate high-face permission has its own provenance. GF9 E3, p.10, component audit.
The implementable tariff is ceil(physicalCounters / 2) for Guild. This composes E3's one-spice-per-force Homeworld tariff with its Guild half-price clause; the paragraph does not give a separate Arrakis-origin worked example. For return to Junction, the base reserve-return price independently produces the same result. Do not use the two-spice non-stronghold territory tariff for a Homeworld. GF9 E3, p.10, GF9 base, pp.19,23.
The base Guild alternatives use the faction's single shipment and start in one territory. Its Q&A expressly allows counters distributed among sectors of that territory to ship together. Preserve exact typed source groups; reject combining different territories. The Storm Obstruction rule prevents departure of counters under storm. It supplies no exception for Guild cross-shipping; do not reject an entire partly covered territory when the selected counters are outside storm. GF9 base, pp.7,19,22.
The Hidden Mobile Stronghold is independently protected from storms. Its interior is the source when shipping out; its pointer locates its ordinary-board entrance. Do not substitute the pointer's storm-covered sector for the protected interior. This follows the printed protection, rather than a dedicated Guild-departure FAQ example. GF9 E1, p.9.
Distinct card interactions
Guild's special Karama names an off-planet shipment of any player. It does not say that the origin must be off Arrakis, or prohibit choosing Guild itself. A physical Arrakis-to-another-world shipment fits the interplanetary predicate used in the preceding audit; this is source composition, not a new explicit FAQ example. Preserve the existing optional owned response when Guild holds the card, including its own shipment. Never use an Arrakis-origin flag as blanket special-interception immunity. GF9 base, p.14.
Ordinary Karama has separate targets for Guild transport permission, its half-price benefit, and payment income. E1's reference prohibits cross/return transport when the Three Types advantage is canceled; it separately removes the discount. E3's immunity protects Homeworld face effects, including Junction's granted permission, without turning Guild's ordinary transport advantage into a face effect. Keep those sources separate. This audit does not choose a new announcement, repricing, or affordability policy for the pending timing questions. GF9 E1, p.12, GF9 E3, p.10.
Technology and payment
E3's FAQ confirms Heighliner activation for shipment to a Homeworld, without restricting the origin or requiring a foreign destination. Preserve E1's exception when Guild is the only qualifying shipper. Thus Guild's own Junction return or invasion alone earns no Heighliner income; a future non-Guild Junction-sponsored shipment to a Homeworld qualifies. Settlement activates the token once for the phase, rather than awarding spice per transported counter. GF9 E3, p.15, GF9 E1, p.5.
Retain the contributor-specific payment contract. The shipper's personal fee for this route goes to the bank; any non-Guild ally contribution follows the independently recorded November funding rule. Funds, custody, typed totals, shipment usage, and technology remain unchanged until a valid settlement. No sector, territorial entry effect, or stronghold occupancy cap applies to the Homeworld destination.
Validation: freshly retrieved publisher-indexed E3 pp.10/15 and E1 pp.5/9/12, plus base pp.14/19/22. Direct publisher PDF requests failed; the accessible base mirror contains the publisher-authored 24-page rulebook. Fan compilations and tournament rules were excluded. Local document links reviewed; no runtime, saved game, or automation changed by this audit.
