Homeworld mobility and Spiritual Advisors
9 September 2026. Source contract. This integrates native population effects into existing movement, knowledge and accompaniment paths. Homeworld starts remain disabled pending the whole module.
Implemented behavior
Low Caladan suppresses the Atreides foresight opportunity at the start of Shipment and Movement, including a refill that would only serve that inspection. This advantage never spends movement. Knowledge already obtained legally remains available; raising population later does not manufacture a missed phase-opening peek.
Low Wallach IX suppresses the optional free Spiritual Advisor follow-up after another faction's qualifying shipment, including Guild Ambassador and Junction transport. It does not prevent paid Bene Gesserit shipment, joining existing advisors, or moving existing forces. High Wallach IX offers one or two normal reserve counters to Polar Sink; accompanying another destination still permits only one. A declared two-counter batch uses the high population before departure, then removes and places both counters together. Lower population afterward governs later opportunities.
The declared amount survives the existing ordinary advisor response and saved interruptions. Canceling Spiritual Advisors prevents the whole conditional arrival, including its added counter; it does not create a separate Homeworld cancellation. This source composition is identified in the rules audit. Guild Ambassador settlement preserves its already-completed primary shipment and records an exact one- or two-counter accompaniment receipt. Historical two-counter receipts require Homeworlds and Polar Sink but do not incorrectly recheck high population after that legal departure.
Low Ix prevents movement of the Hidden Mobile Stronghold, including the special Karama relocation. Its setup placement and movements by physical forces remain distinct. A low native population skips the ordinary unavailable stronghold movement opportunity. Low Richese prevents movement of the No-Field token, including Hajr, Ornithopter movement selections and Fremen Ambassador relocation; physical forces can move while leaving the token where it is. Shipment and voluntary revelation retain their own rules.
Shared public helpers supply the authoritative limits, player controls and all four AI profiles. Controls explain blocked movement, leave physical-force alternatives available, and expose both permitted Polar Sink amounts. Native counters determine these effects; visitors and another faction's Homeworld do not supply a false threshold. Saved advisor, foresight and mobile-stronghold responses are checked in the current frame and supported explicit saved parents before costs or projection.
Verification and remaining scope
Fifty-three new regressions cover the public helper (11), mobility engine paths (14), mobility SQLite recovery (4), ordinary advisor engine paths (10), advisor SQLite recovery (6) and Guild Ambassador integration (8). They verify both native thresholds and typed custody, legitimate learned knowledge, no late foresight, ordinary and special movement, free versus paid advisor sources, pair settlement, cancellation, saved Box parents, concurrent requests, rejected writes, private projection and unchanged unrelated rooms. Richese and Ecaz audit fixtures explicitly retain supported physical decks and constructors; they do not establish full expansion setup. Independent reviews and existing related tests passed. Final broad results are recorded in the newest implementation checkpoint.
In an isolated browser room using genuine Advanced Homeworld setup with a staged shipment opportunity, Emperor's actual one-force shipment opened the BG follow-up. Desktop controls exposed one/two Polar Sink choices and the separate one-force accompaniment alternative. On a 390×844 viewport, keyboard selection declared two forces; the saved response retained that amount after refresh with all nineteen reserves still present. The other human seat allowed the power by keyboard. Another refresh preserved seventeen reserves, two forces in Polar Sink, the original one elsewhere, zero Tanks and BG's unused ordinary shipment. Emperor retained its Karama, nineteen native reserves and nine spice. No page errors or horizontal phone overflow occurred. Phone choice/settlement screenshots were visually inspected. The reaction display subsequently gained explicit declared quantity and destination text; full checks/build were rerun after that display edit.
All 2,833 pre-existing room versions and state hashes remained unchanged after the isolated browser and HTTP tests, with none missing. The existing development server was reused; no maintenance restart was due during this checkpoint.
Occupation may retain low penalties independently of current native population; its existing lifecycle interpretations remain unresolved. Remaining high and occupied faces, concealed transport, full expansion setup and complete Homeworld games remain unfinished. No start or publication gate opens, saved games are preserved, and the maintenance automation stays removed.
