User ruling 13 October 2026: the original faction keeps its existing Skill assignment while its trained leader is captured. Reviving a different eligible own leader is legal and simply draws no replacement card while that assignment exists (selected reading of authorized supplied Advanced physical p21 "if you have no Leader Skill Card"). Not a new publisher ruling; captor lower-band use, card movement and death-return unchanged. Remove the replacement-question veto that suppressed the entire ordinary/Ghola revival: leaderSkillRevivalBlocked/requireLeaderSkillRevival, the gholaLeaders early return, the view revival.leaders: [] filter and the beginRevival/Ghola/ Emperor-special-Karama call sites are gone. offerRevivedLeaderSkill is unchanged and still suppresses a second assignment or draw. Rewrote the two committed rejection assertions (tests/advanced-native-skills.test.ts, tests/leader-skills-capture.test.ts) and added native regressions covering ordinary paid, held-Ghola and Emperor special Karama revival from a genuinely captured skilled state: exact cost, no draw or offer, retained captive/card/controller and a conserved all14 deck. Rule decision index
Updated 13 October 2026. This is the authoritative navigation index for existing decisions, not a replacement rulebook or a new ruling. Detailed linked contracts retain their source citations and exact supported boundaries. Runtime follow-ups supersede historical absence claims; passing tests establish software behavior, not publisher authority.
User decisions — 13 October 2026
- Captured Leader Skill replacement: the original faction retains its existing Skill assignment while its trained leader is captured. Reviving a different eligible own leader is legal; it does not offer or draw a replacement Skill while that assignment exists, so no second assignment is created. This is the selected reading of the authorized supplied Advanced physical p21 condition "if you have no Leader Skill Card", not a new publisher ruling. The captor's lower-band-only use, the captive's card movement and death-return are unchanged. Ruling.
These decisions do not open public module/faction or complete-mode gates.
User decisions — 11 October 2026
- Normal Mentat: approve the existing uniform private card-show step, including exact matches and sole eligible cards. Activate it normally in supported Leader Skills development games; remove the separate question opt-in. Older opened unversioned battles retain their original sequence. Approved flow.
- Bureaucrat / Emperor gifts: gifts are not payments. They create no Bureaucrat opportunity or qualifying-threshold disclosure; exact amounts remain private to giver/recipient. Other payment paths are unchanged. Gift ruling.
These decisions do not open public module/faction or complete-mode gates.
Content-first Basic prototypes — 8 October 2026
The user's Basic-first instruction authorizes usable first versions before interaction refinement. The following implementation policies are explicitly provisional, not numerical user rulings or newly located publisher answers. They supersede earlier software-absence claims only within their named scope.
| Basic behavior | First-version policy | Canonical contract |
|---|---|---|
| Odd-force Ecaz Occupy | Main paragraph: ceiling contribution/loss, floor survivors; conflicting FAQ remains unresolved. | Occupy |
| New-ally Duke loan | Optional existing-disc loan after Ambassador alliance consent; one battle and unused turn-end set-aside. | Duke acquisition |
| Tleilaxu Ambassador leader alternative | First-death own native leader, or Atreides' source-supported separate first-killed KH, revives free instead of forces. Ordinary allowance independence remains provisional; repeat returns/shared custody stay separate. | Ambassador |
| Ordinary allied shipment transit | Depart during the shipper's turn; excess new physical visitors still present at ending go to Tanks, even when exit was prevented. Old co-occupation timing is separate. | Allied transit |
| Ordinary mixed No-Field battle | Private pool is physical forces plus reserve-limited token materialization; both plans seal before one reveal. Advanced now shares this provisional policy; combined Occupy remains separate. | No-Field |
| Guild-recipient allied No-Field | Rounded one-force Guild fee: one spice to bank, even when Richese funds it; no Guild self-shipment income. | Allied No-Field payment |
| Already-active Karama / allied No-Field | Honor the already-played rounded one-force Guild rate and bank routing; no implicit additional card or shipment. | Allied No-Field payment |
| Full-hand Nullentropy Box | Basic and Advanced permit an atomic retrieval/Box-disposal exchange with final hand within its actual limit; Box remains last/on top. Intermediate capacity is not adjudicated. | Box runtime |
| Kulon with Richese Ornithopter | Both modes coexist in Basic/Advanced. The fixed one-group card maximum remains three; Kulon extends each normal-range group. Explicitly provisional, not a publisher ruling. | Movement policy |
| Multi-pile battle skills | In both modes, surviving Smuggler allocates the fixed unmodified-strength-capped collection among reveal-time positive piles; Sandmaster winner then selects one remaining pile for +3. Single-pile/all/none/void effects stay automatic. Owner sector selection is provisional, not a publisher allocation ruling. | Smuggler, Sandmaster |
| Multi-pile Sandmaster movement | Ground movement and native HMS relocation choose one existing positive debit sector per entered territory; worm and physical Fremen Ambassador relocation choose one at their destination, or decline collection. HMS selection precedes unchanged native sector collection and survives cancellation/special preparation. Duplicate territory and undeclared ambiguous collection reject. Provisional owner allocation, not a publisher ruling. | Ground, HMS, Ambassador, worm |
| Basic occupied Homeworld lifecycle | Current sole foreign garrison controls occupied income, Bidding effects, defenses, percentage shares and the Ecaz-victory holding; the entitlement ends immediately on departure, contest or native repopulation. A recorded source observation is still required. Basic Tupile slot leasing keeps the conservative original-epoch gate. Visibly provisional, not a publisher or numerical user ruling. | Occupation |
No publication or faction/mode gate is opened. The exact 7 October user rulings below remain distinct from these prototype choices.
Advanced prototype pass — 8 October 2026
Basic and Advanced standalone core-function inventories are closed at first-version level, not complete-mode acceptance. Exceptional custody, timing variants and optional combinations remain active rule work. Ecaz's supplied physical PDF p30, A requires an available Duke grant after accepted Ambassador alliance consent. The accepting action now performs that same-disc transfer automatically, without a new loan acknowledgement. Basic keeps its optional prototype. Turn-end set-aside is supplied text; one-battle loan release remains the explicit provisional implementation policy. Existing exceptional custody and Advanced Harkonnen guards remain. Current Duke grant contract.
Richese special Karama may now buy its final cached card under the 7 October exhausted-cache ruling. Its full-hand spent-Karama exchange uses an explicitly provisional final-capacity policy, not a numerical user ruling. Separate income and reservation safeguards remain. Acquisition contract.
Advanced Richese ordinary mixed battles, Guild/active-Karama allied prices and full-hand Box now share the visibly qualified Basic prototype policies. Native Advanced support and shipment prevention remain separate. These are first-version implementation choices, not exact numerical user rulings; combined Occupy, whole-plan inspection and Guild-refund boundaries remain.
Supplied p30 Ecaz G and p35 Moritani F now have connected once-game special Karama first versions. Ecaz uses an explicitly provisional absolute disc-value virtual dial addition without extra physical losses; declaration enforces an unarmed plan without hidden-opponent preview. Moritani forces public played-card keep/discard subsets, with an explicitly provisional mandatory-disposal-first boundary. These are implementation interpretations, not publisher clarifications. Ecaz combat and distinct Moritani special disposal retain their exact scope and observed evidence.
Supplied p29 CHOAM E permits native Auditor revival each turn, including repeat deaths. Ordinary price, one-leader allowance and prevention remain. The separate five-ordinary-disc cycle exclusion is a visibly provisional implementation policy, not a numerical user ruling or publisher answer. Source, policy and runtime evidence.
Advanced ordinary allied reserve shipment now uses the FAQ's scoped shipment-then-departure permission and supplied p15 end-turn constraint. Its ending removes all shared actor forces, not the Basic prototype's excess newcomers. Storm/capacity and advisor/Polar/Ecaz exemptions remain. No-Field and optional transports are separate. Allied transit.
User rulings — 7 October 2026
Five previously pending questions were answered directly by the user. These are recorded user rulings, not located publisher passages; the source documents below retain the passages that left each question open.
| Boundary | Ruling | Superseded question record |
|---|---|---|
| CHOAM opening income at low-population Tupile | CHOAM's opening income (2 × players) counts as a qualifying collection for Tupile's low-population bank increment: add homeworldLowBonus × Inflation multiplier exactly as ordinary poverty charity does, instead of leaving the engine guard. |
Homeworld benefits |
| Richese exhausted/canceled cache count | When no cache lot can run — the cache is exhausted, or the compulsory cache auction is canceled/prevented — one ordinary auction lot is restored, so the ordinary pool runs its full declared count rather than the cache-reduced count. | Richese auction boundaries |
| Suk Graduate / Atreides | Counters rescued by Suk Graduate count toward the seven force losses that activate Kwisatz Haderach (raw dialed casualties), so Suk is no longer withheld in Advanced Atreides. | Suk Graduate rules |
| Guild Secret Ally / Homeworlds | The Nexus Secret Ally reserve-return grant overrides the Arrakis-to-native-Homeworld restriction for the holder's own native reserves only; arbitrary foreign-Homeworld transport stays unavailable. | Homeworld return |
| Sandmaster / native HMS relocation | Forces remaining inside a relocated HMS interior count as entering the outside territories the stronghold points into, so Sandmaster grants its per-entered-territory collection for those territories. | Native HMS relocation eligibility |
Each ruling changes only the specific combination named. Ordinary behaviour the sources already established (ordinary charity, ordinary Richese auction counts, non-rescue losses, ordinary Arrakis routes and ordinary Sandmaster entry/exit) is unchanged. Implementation, guidance and tests follow the ruling; the retained documents above keep their original source analysis.
Single-native E1/E2 Nexus composition — 7 October 2026
The same authorized physical PDF21–23 optional-module independence admits exactly one original Ixians OR Tleilaxu, or CHOAM OR Richese, with classic opponents and its required one-family deck. Original Nexus/Skills setup now composes optional Homeworlds/Discovery/Tech/Advanced Strongholds; the paired entry still requires both natives. This removes an admission limitation, not a printed effect guard. Native-only own-disc revival training first accepts its optional draw; native CHOAM Worthless effects are distinct from Nexus any-Treachery fuel. Canonical scope and current consumer evidence. Mixed decks, native free-return/companion, public-start/save conversion and pending printed rulings remain separate. Software passes confer no new source authority or complete-mode certification.
Standalone E3 Nexus without Skills — 6 October 2026
Revision physical PDF21–23 permits original optional modules together/ separately. The fresh one-native Ecaz OR Moritani/classic Nexus entry therefore composes Homeworld/Discovery/Tech/Advanced Strongholds without training, retaining each original prerequisite and printed effect source. Legal no-Skills Advanced Ecaz/Harkonnen admission does not grant Duke Cunning there; Advanced Moritani/Harkonnen remains inadmissible. Foreign Homeworld visitors cannot make normal Traitor calls. Canonical source/consumer receipts distinguish actual native Cunning supply, Harkonnen extra Traitor exchange, Terror death and post-loss private assassination, support/cleanup/Tech and ordinary Collection. No default response/prompt or bank income is invented. Original Basic odd-force Ecaz and high-threshold revival timing captures remain guarded; native free returns, exceptional Duke and Terror relocation/ Grumman/HMS questions are not settled by software passes.
Native Homeworld Nexus composition — 6 October 2026
Authorized revision physical PDF21–23 permits optional variants together or separately regardless of factions; this admits existing paired E1/E2 and standalone Ecaz OR Moritani skill/Nexus Homeworld envelopes rather than establishing a general incompatibility. Original profile/printed-face restrictions remain. Source-qualified runtime evidence keeps native Suk returns at the same home, residual Cyborg Tanks from that same physical quote and native Homeworld strength separate from paid dialed support. CHOAM income settles after rescue/cleanup and excludes its own support. Actual Richese nested materialization and quiet living-Duke custody add no free companion, shared-disc training, Homeworld Occupy or Intrusion.
Nine original captures retain existing low-CHOAM opening-income, Basic odd-force Ecaz and high-threshold revival timing guards. No cancellation, payout, force-count rewrite or new ruling bypasses them. Other recorded Face Dance allocation, Atreides Suk/KH, Diplomat retreat and native return questions stay separate. Passing software checks does not settle sources.
Classic Homeworld Skills/Discovery composition — 6 October 2026
Authorized revision physical PDF21–23 permits these variants together or separately. Fresh bounded classic Homeworld profiles compose Skills, Discovery or both, optionally original Tech3+ and Advanced Strongholds2+; no source claim that these modules are generally incompatible remains. Homeworld runtime records implementation and verification. Native Suk rescue stays at its original home; external Emperor returns explicitly choose exact ordinary/ elite allocations between actual native homes. That allocation is a prototype implementation interpretation, not the PDF22 revival rule or a direct user/publisher ruling. Separate Face Dance allocation, Atreides Suk/KH and Diplomat retreat questions are unchanged.
Authorized source amendment — 1 October 2026
The user added UNOFFICIAL_Revised_Dune_Rulebook_v.2.3_web.pdf at the
checkout root and authorized it as a source of truth going forward.
Use this supplied revision for Advanced rules and clarifications, including
its explicitly identified unofficial rulings; the former publisher-only
restriction does not exclude this document. Preserve specific recorded user
decisions unless changed, and use printed components and GF9 material for
details the supplied revision does not cover. Record material differences
and their implementation cutovers explicitly rather than silently blending
editions or describing unofficial rulings as publisher rulings.
Source identity: 44 physical PDF pages; metadata title
UNOFFICIAL Revised Dune Rulebook v.2.3.pages; the visible editorial heading
on physical page 3 still says Version 2.2. Cite the supplied filename and
physical PDF page, not an assumed corrected heading.
SHA-256: 7077aa87a973221d86d4bd2da945b40c4dec3d371caa6a68cb209758ddf1e516.
The user-owned local PDF is preserved, not republished as an application asset.
The current Guild Betrayal wave was compared with shipment/payment rules (physical page 10), separate Guild Karama targets (19), Homeworld transport and occupation (22), Nexus lifecycle/modes (23), and native Guild tariffs and special stop (37). Those passages do not replace the specific printed Guild Nexus full-payment/own-payment/Junction override or supply a new response order; its bounded prepayment contract remains source-consistent. This is a source comparison, not runtime verification.
Advanced core cutover — 1 October 2026
The supplied revision now resolves two normal Advanced defaults, not a new opt-in profile or a publisher ruling:
- Storm Movement, physical PDF page 6: after the first turn, draw a random Storm Deck card and return the last revealed card before the next determination, expressly even without native Fremen. The first Storm still uses the two nearby players' secret 0–20 dials. The implementation reuses the six canonical faces 1–6 and its structured Storm source; native Fremen keeps its private next-card forecast and separate peek cancellation. Without Fremen, nobody gains a forecast or a borrowed Fremen advantage.
- Alliance Constraint, physical PDF page 15 and rationale on 40: at each player's Shipment and Movement end, that ending player's own forces in territories shared with its ally go to Tanks. Advanced does not wait for the ally's later turn or exempt an alliance formed this turn. Bene Gesserit advisors do not trigger this constraint in either direction; fighters remain ordinary forces. Polar Sink and native Ecaz peaceful coexistence remain exceptions. Homeworlds are not Dune territories, and their native allied-entry prohibitions are unchanged.
The supplied revision's Leaders, physical PDF page 11 also requires a player unable to use a leader and not playing Cheap Hero to announce that fact before revealing plans; no Treachery Cards can be part of that plan. Existing leader/card legality remains unchanged. Advanced now publishes the legal leaderless declaration when the original plan is sealed, before any reveal or special full-plan read continuation, without exposing dial/support or other private choices. The current battle status and chronicle preserve it across refresh; no extra reaction, confirmation or plan submission is added. Basic announcement behavior remains intentionally unchanged by this Advanced source cutover.
The page 15 footnote explicitly identifies the changed timing and advisor coexistence as departures from the original rules and November 2020 FAQ. Page 40 explains that choice; it is the supplied revision's unofficial authority, not a later GF9 clarification. See the allied separation source comparison and readiness follow-up.
Basic retains its existing dials and later-player/formation-turn separation
policy. A saved current Storm completes its already recorded dial/card
protocol without resetting, rerolling or redealing; the next new Advanced
Storm opening uses the Deck. Completed movement consequences are not
reevaluated. The own-turn warning exposes only affected public territory
names through GameView.advancedAllySeparation; the ordinary endMovement
action stays unchanged, with no confirmation for mandatory losses.
Verification of this cutover is Partial development verified: genuine
native, authenticated SQLite, private/control/bot and phone evidence is
recorded in the checkpoint log.
Code e1056a4 has exact-source successful isolated container verification
and publication; that does not update the last observed live revision.
Public, faction, optional-module and full-mode readiness gates are unchanged.
Secrecy (physical page 16), Duke Vidal's ghola exception (30), Kull and other
independent decisions are not reconciled by this cutover.
Basic Ecaz Occupy even-force boundary — 4 October 2026
Superseded for prototype availability on 8 October: the user requests Basic
first versions even when imperfect. Basic odd-count Occupy now uses the main p8
paragraph provisionally (ceil(E/2) contribution/loss, floor(E/2) survivors),
with a visible control warning. The conflicting FAQ is not adjudicated by this
implementation choice. The historical even-only checkpoint below is retained.
Fresh bounded ecaz-occupy now admits Basic with the exact ecaz deck and
classic or optional Moritani opponents, no optional modules. For an even Ecaz
force count the publisher page-8 paragraph and the page-15 example agree:
contribution and ordinary-win Ecaz losses are E/2. Their odd-count examples
still contradict each other, so an uncanceled odd Basic count is rejected at
the original battle choice before any lead frame is saved; it is not rounded,
canceled or replaced. Advanced keeps its separately authorized ceiling
arithmetic. Basic has no Emperor/Fremen elite inventory and a supplied Basic
support amount normalizes to zero, so the shared editor blocks nonzero support
rather than creating a Basic payment rule. This is a source-bound composition,
not a publisher correction. See the
Basic even-force contract.
Authorized Advanced Ecaz Occupy cutover — 2 October 2026
The authorized supplied revision resolves the Advanced combined army:
Occupy B, physical PDF page 32 selects Ecaz or its current ally as lead.
The lead uses its own leaders, cards and spice. The total dial includes
ceil(Ecaz fighters / 2) mandatory, full-strength, free Ecaz contribution
plus the chosen allied army strength. An ordinary win leaves
floor(Ecaz fighters / 2) Ecaz survivors and separately settles the variable
allied army's native dial losses.
The Ecaz Karama row, physical PDF page 19 preserves that selected lead but substitutes the lead's own army; the other ally contributes zero. This supersedes the historical Advanced rounding/cancellation source gap, not Basic and not a newly located GF9/designer erratum. The specific user decision that only Ecaz revives Duke Vidal, including by Ghola, remains above the supplied sheet's contrary exception.
The fresh, bounded ecaz-occupy rule/control implementation is Partial /
Development Verified. Whole participating armies must be clear and connected
under physical pages6/11; canonical co-side membership preserves voluntary BG
advisor conversion. Basic is unchanged. The existing profile now additionally
composes native Ixian typed casualties/Suboid substitution, actual CHOAM payer/
donor income and whole Ecaz co-side FaceDance return with original lead rewards.
Exact selected E3/E1/E2 decks retain33/47/35 cards; Richese mixed planning,
other overlays and full Ecaz acceptance remain open. See the
source comparison and exact cutover.
Explicit --ecaz-treachery selects the independent three-card variant before
the original setup, adding3 to each family deck. The printed own-only Harass
FAQ composes with original fixed Ecaz commitment or selected ally variable
forces; returned reserves are outside later loss/FaceDance. Reinforcements
keeps its existing provisional own-reserve cost/+2-score policy rather than
claiming a new outcome ruling. Basic/unprofiled co-side card use remains guarded.
See combined-card boundaries.
Comprehensive recovery/privacy/custody review follows all rules rather than
becoming another prototype assurance wave.
Advanced Moritani normal-reveal duration cutover — 2 October 2026
The authorized supplied revision resolves the previously open duration: Assassinate Leaders D, physical PDF page 35, requires that Moritani has not yet revealed its Traitor Card normally this game. A normal own-card reveal therefore forfeits Assassinate Leaders for the rest of the game, across later turns and every opposing faction, whether that battle was won or lost.
This supersedes the historical “normal call, unresolved duration” guard as source resolution, not a newly located GF9 erratum or a Basic ruling. The persisted normal-call flag already enforced game scope; owner guidance, public reveal history and the log now name the sourced forfeiture. Exceptional leader custody and the independent private-step UX/public-preview gates are unchanged. See the cutover and Advanced sequence.
Classic Homeworld Nexus module composition — 6 October 2026
The supplied revision21–23 permits the printed Homeworld/Skills/Discovery/ Tech/Stronghold variants together or separately. Nexus faces retain their publisher/component source authority; this composition does not derive a Nexus effect or blanket immunity from the supplied PDF. Fresh classic Homeworld/Nexus therefore reuses the existing optional-module predicates, all14 offered training when selected and the original closing deal. Physical native Suk saves stay local. Fixed-three Fremen Nexus revival uses the existing printed native deposit, placing actual revived Sardaukar at Salusa, separate from the external Suk split interpretation. PDF22's free native strength bonus is not free dialed-force support. Actual prior Shai-Hulud casualties do not repeat at Great Maker. Native compositions, pending interpretations, public starts and full-mode acceptance remain separate. Exact source-qualified scope.
Native Homeworld module composition — 6 October 2026
Authorized supplied revision physical21–23 permits Homeworlds, Skills, Discovery, Tech and Strongholds together/separately irrespective of faction selection. The bounded fresh native composition therefore reuses supported E1/E2 and standalone Ecaz OR Moritani/classic setup predicates, not a new rule model. Original skill-before-faction ordering applies to typed Suk and residual Cyborg substitution; Homeworlds remain outside Arrakis Occupy and Intrusion. Existing CHOAM low-opening-income, Basic odd Ecaz and exhausted Richese-cache guards remain visible in original game captures. The external Imperial Suk split is still an implementation interpretation, not ordinary revival placement or a new user/publisher ruling. Native Face Dance, Diplomat retreat and other pending interpretations remain separate. Exact scope and evidence.
Advanced Homeworld occupation source cutover — 5 October 2026
The authorized supplied revision, physical page22, qualifies an occupier when its foreign forces are alone on the world and retains those benefits until none of its forces remain. Original semantic snapshots therefore retain Advanced ownership through later contests, native repopulation and turn changes, then clear it on departure; a subsequent sole arrival creates a new original epoch. Its sole-only qualification does not inherit the publisher’s foreign-presence-at-boundary clause. This supersedes the historical Advanced lifecycle guard, not Basic, a GF9 erratum or a current-garrison shortcut. The supplied page omits the individual reverse effects; audited components and GF9 immunity/payment authority continue to supply those details.
Kaitain/Junction native cancellation remains separate from printed occupied percentages. Caladan native inspection denial hides native’s face while the separately admitted occupier share survives. Ix transfers the actual Bidding pool, not setup/Technology; Richese transfers only cache-card selection, not seller terms, invoice or authority to bypass a canceled-auction-count ruling. One real Giedi bonus uses the recipient’s hand space; Southern rounds the completed actual Collection total once. These source compositions are not dedicated retrieved worked FAQs. Contract and remaining limits.
Recorded contracts and implementation boundaries
| Topic | Decision to preserve | Detailed authority and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Stable Homeworld occupation | Fresh original Homeworlds alone and source history. Advanced uses authorized p22 sole qualification retained until last-force departure; Basic uses the visibly provisional current-sole policy recorded in the Basic table above, with Basic Tupile keeping its conservative epoch gate. Actual bank/percentage income, sharing, Caladan/Ix/Richese/Giedi ownership and native defenses are connected. Native CHOAM fresh entries separately mark original Tupile slots, owner-selected normal-limit cleanup and low-query restoration; old profiles are not upgraded. No inferred controller, back-award, invented canceled-auction count, public/save conversion or unrelated overlay. Exceptional Duke remains separate. | Source cutover, Basic policy, Tupile original lease and consumers |
| Printed high Ecaz Homeworld victory | Fresh native Ecaz/Homeworld entry only: current high7+, reciprocal alliance jointly holds one actual uncontested stronghold and proved physically held worlds of two other native factions. Separate source joins ordinary winner union before BG prediction/final fallback; no ordinary point inflation, Tech substitute or Duke permission. Basic holdings now follow the provisional current-sole policy, so a repopulated, contested or departed world simply stops counting instead of blocking the win; old/public profiles unchanged. | Card contract and actual original win |
| Standalone E3 Nexus / Skills / original components | Fresh Ecaz OR Moritani/classic ecaz33/all14/all12, Basic/Advanced2..6, original Tech3+/Advanced Strongholds2+. Original Duke/assassination/Terror, chosen-plan Advanced Occupy and separate physical armies remain. Ecaz-led Suk rescues only its own fixed casualties; Diplomat uses the selected faction's own undialed commitment. Owner-pool skill composition is an explicit implementation inference, not a combined-skill FAQ. E3 pairs/Harkonnen Advanced/HW/previews/shared-Duke training/enhanced relocation and pending rulings remain guarded. | Source and verified scope, coalition contract |
| Harkonnen special-Karama forced return | Return automatically only when the combined hand equals the count owed. Keep actual drawn-card observations owner-private after settlement; legacy forced saves describe held-card history without inventing draw provenance. Existing provisional auction-payment recovery and mode gates remain. | Contract and limits |
| Basic Moritani / Leader Skills | Ordinary Terror death returns the assigned skill once; own revival offers the existing private optional replacement. Sabotage does not take skills, alliances do not transfer assignments, and mandatory Planetologist/Diplomat disposal excludes those cards from ally retention. This is composition of existing contracts, not a new ruling or resolution of unfinished skill effects. Advanced and other roster/module combinations remain gated. | Integration contract |
| Ecaz Loyalty | Before initial Traitor dealing, randomly set aside one native Ecaz card face up permanently. No Karama effect; no change to its leader disc. Resolving after existing pre-Traitor setup is an explicit sequencing composition; native ordinary-disc Skills now precede this draw through public assignment. Older dealt saves are not retrofitted; wider Skills/assassination combinations remain gated. | Official sources and runtime, native skill composition |
| Sapho battle order | First/last reorders remaining Battle-phase choosers at clean boundaries. Phase priority persists through aftermath; actual legal pairs determine eligibility. Separating the chooser from physical attacker/tie advantage is an explicit implementation interpretation of the card's distinct alternatives, not a dedicated FAQ ruling. Last does not prevent others from choosing the holder as an opponent. | Runtime scope and source interpretation |
| Harass & Withdraw | Either slot but neither category; private Prescience answers null. Return uniquely determined own undialed physical forces before weapon losses, canceled by an opposing successful Traitor. Mandatory after-use discard overrides winner retention. Explosion ordering and own-Traitor disposal are explicit timing/specificity inferences, consistent with the recorded Planetologist precedent. | Runtime and sources |
| Expansion-faction setup | Selecting Ecaz/Moritani factions does not select their independent three-card variant. Ordinary decks contain 33/35/47 cards; Richese's ten-card cache stays separate. Ecaz allocates six total forces within Imperial Basin sectors 9–11, retaining fourteen reserves. Flexible sector allocation is the literal printed territory constraint; Fremen→Ecaz→Advanced BG order is an implementation inference, while Moritani-last is printed. | Source and profile contract |
| Ixian Technology on Richese lots | Superseded 8 October by the authorized supplied Advanced physical p34, which expressly excludes Richese auctions from Ixian Technology. Richese cache/Black Market lots now open directly; the once-per-round Technology use remains for ordinary lots. The temporary per-lot decline scaffolding and its tests were deleted. | Auction source boundary |
| Spice Banker battle spending | Secret own-spice commitment is separate from support; only the surviving selected disc gains strength. Core Battle Plan payment rules spend it on death/loss and waive it for a sole traitor-call winner. This payment composition is explicit; upper deferred-income custody remains pending. | Source contract and prototype |
| Smuggler shipping | Optional free companion is included in the actual total; apply Guild rounding to the reduced priced count. Ordinary Fremen reserves are on planet. The officially permitted owned No-Field plus a separate free force is now prototyped at the unchanged one-marker price. Legacy unstamped ordinary declarations keep their quoted full price. | Ordinary contract, No-Field combination |
| Sandmaster movement | One optional board spice per distinct entered territory; source-only repositioning earns none. Per-movement Hajr reset is a documented grammatical inference. Canceled moves earn nothing. Native Fremen worm rides and physical Fremen Ambassador relocations collect optionally at the destination before arrival reactions, without an invented intermediate route. Owned one-pile-per-territory allocation now covers ground, direct destinations and native HMS relocation; sector allocation remains provisional and concealed No-Field movement stays separate. | Ground/direct/HMS relocation, worm rides |
| Diplomat defense | A committed Worthless copies the opponent's canonical printed defensive role: base/Ix Shield/Snooper, hybrid, defensive Weirding/Chemistry or sealed Portable. Named combat distinctions remain. Copying the used role, not activation or own-slot prerequisites, is a visibly qualified first version. Reveal-before-traitor timing and mandatory disposal remain implementation interpretations; existing base-only battle windows are not reopened. Late/mirror/numeric modifications remain separate. | Source and connected prototype |
| Bureaucrat payments | Once per phase, divert two from one actual third-party payer contribution of at least five; never pool below-five shares or change full payer costs. Trainer/payee contributions cannot qualify but do not hide another eligible payer; private shares and qualifying identity stay withheld. Bribes qualify at shield transfer, not collection; gifts remain excluded by the 11 October ruling. Original native Karama income cancellation precedes Bureaucrat as an outcome-based inference. User ruled gross-first diversion before occupied Homeworld allocation: fresh classic occupation+Skills now connects gross8→Bank2/native3/occupied3 with original paid8 and contributions preserved; cancellation instead leaves occupied4/native0 and no Bureaucrat use. Original two-odd Guild rounding remains guarded. User also ruled Betrayal holder receipt minus2, connected in the bounded classic Nexus+Skills Betrayal composition. Other combinations remain unfinished. | Source and connected boundary |
| Leader battle effects | Rihani normal peek and reshuffle precede a separate committed optional draw; ordering is an explicit printed-order inference. Unused excludes actual calls, not mere disclosure. Mentat/Bureaucrat change scores; Sandmaster adds board spice. Owned multi-pile Smuggler debits and Sandmaster victory placement are connected under provisional allocation policies; modifier and exceptional Face Dancer composition remain separate. | Source contract and prototype, Smuggler allocation |
| Source and readiness | Separate published rules, explicit implementation choices and unfinished interpretations; Advanced/expansion gates stay closed. | Base/Advanced audit, checklist |
| Setup and Fremen movement | Preserve source-ordered setup and the distinct declared-movement cancellation; do not recreate fixed historical gaps. | Setup contract, Fremen Karama |
| Guild payment | Rate, transport permission and income are distinct; power owner, shipper, contributors and independent rate-card beneficiary remain distinct. | Rate/cancellation sources, implemented payment routing |
| Guild native rate Karama | In bounded classic-faction Basic/Advanced tables, a separate prepayment response can cancel Guild’s or its ally’s half rate on an ordinary reserve shipment or eligible cross-planet transport, and Guild’s own return. The original physical cohort and approved contributor split must cover full destination price; otherwise the Karama is spent, the declaration returns unused, and a replacement this turn uses full price. One spice per returned force is the conservative doubled-tariff interpretation without a return-specific FAQ example. Independent Karama-purchased rates, Guild income, transport permission and optional modules remain separate. | Publisher distinctions and selected reserve/transport policy |
| Deferred shipment arrival | Quote unsupported ordinary arrivals before saving Guild interception. A validated legacy ordinary declaration may return unspent on the typed arrival error; corrupted declarations and special parent/card receipts are not silently cleared. This repairs continuation without deciding simultaneous reaction priority. | Reproduction and bounded recovery |
| Truthtrance | Current facts are boolean disclosures, not promises to preserve resources. Structured Basic and base Advanced active-opportunity shipment promises bind within their documented scope (Advanced excludes Guild and optional modules); prose is not automatically enforced. | Spice facts, card facts, shipment promises, remaining audit |
| Truthtrance hand categories | Count current physical hand custody by explicitly named primary role; alternate battle slots and faction powers do not reclassify cards. Only an aggregate answer is disclosed. | Hand inventory |
| Moritani Advanced assassination preview | After an eligible battle loss, a different opposing-faction Traitor Card may be revealed even if its leader is already dead (zero bounty). Face-up set-aside and one private replacement occur during Mentat; one use per faction. Normal-call duration, uniform hidden-eligibility UX and exceptional combinations remain explicit. | Runtime/source contract |
| Moritani Extortion at Mentat | The user selected normal Terror placement/relocation first, including any Karama response; only then collect the reserved five bank spice and approach other players in storm order for a possible three-spice payment. Payment removes the token; all declines recover it with rotated hidden supply IDs. The relative placement timing is a user-selected interpretation, not a publisher ruling. | Publisher sequence and selected timing |
| Ecaz Ambassador / Moritani Terror shared entry | In bounded classic plus Ecaz/Moritani Basic/Advanced games and the exact original paired native Nexus envelopes, both originally eligible owners resolve optional reactions in current storm order; committed entry, payment and counters do not replay. Later alliances do not erase the original trigger; physical effect prerequisites are rechecked. This remains an explicit provisional interpretation, not a located publisher priority ruling. An original accompanying counter joining existing BG fighters creates its own qualifying entry only after earlier Intrusion/income finish; exempt advisors, competing live reactions, unsupported children and Atomics retain guards. The Terror entry itself is now deferred behind the arrival's own interaction (Guild income, BG fighter Intrusion or BG advisor choice, Fremen storm protection) in an additive pending record that never replays payment or force transfer; a Terror entry already in flight and every Ambassador combination still reject. | Primary-source gap and selected policy, exact paired composition, deferred arrival entry, movement recovery |
| Fremen/Ecaz final-turn victory | Basic keeps reciprocal cooccupation at Tabr only. Authorized supplied Advanced physical p32 Fremen I permits both Tabr and Habbanya when Fremen/Ecaz actually coexist. Solitary/nonallied Ecaz and third parties still block; ordinary winner/prediction/fallback order is preserved. | Current source cutover |
| Truthtrance recorded knowledge | Questions compare an already recorded BG prediction, active submitted storm dial or actually known native Fremen forecast. Missing knowledge is unknown; only the aggregate answer is published. No future promise or unknown deck peek is created. | Connected predicates and evidence |
| Nexus lifecycle | Twelve physical cards, phase draw/replacement and alliance forfeiture; native Cunning, absent-faction Secret Ally and Betrayal have separate effects. No blanket Karama immunity. | Common source contract, lifecycle runtime |
| Nexus faction effects | Preserve physical custody, original faction identity and durable effect receipts; use each printed family instead of borrowing another faction's rules by analogy. | Atreides, Harkonnen, BG, Emperor, Fremen, Guild |
| Expansion Nexus families | Source audit coverage does not imply every panel is playable; consult later runtime records in the status log. | Ixian Cunning, Ixian replacement, Tleilaxu, CHOAM, Richese, Ecaz, Moritani |
| Advanced Richese ally contribution | The authorized supplied Advanced Richese Bidding clause routes Richese's contribution to its ally's cache/Black Market purchase to Emperor or bank, even when Emperor buys. Preserve the original donor leg separately from buyer-to-Richese credit; cancellation redirects only the Emperor leg without paying twice. Basic retains R2's earlier receipt. Native Banker counts only final bank legs; exhausted-cache counts, positive Black Market self-bidding and Technology custody remain unresolved. | Source distinction and recipient contract |
| Richese Nexus Betrayal auctions | Pause at a valid original prepayment quote. Public self-cache veto discards the exact card without debit/acquisition; another buyer's positive cache/Black Market invoice keeps price/contributions/delivery and earned Harkonnen bonus while overriding the recipient to bank. All publicly possible unallied other-faction held-Nexus seats acknowledge uniformly; private identity controls only own Use. This neutral protocol is an application choice, not publisher timing. Normal hidden-family self-purchases, special-Karama veto and unsupported overlays remain excluded; no native Karama exception certifies them. Bounded engine/SQL/bot/phone scenarios are verified locally; broader verification remains Partial and public starts/full Nexus gates stay closed. | Printed face, profile, API and saved continuation, common privacy protocol, auction source boundaries |
| Guild Nexus Betrayal shipment payment | Replace one original funded positive fee in full, including own pre-funded payment and the printed full occupied-Junction override; preserve original payer/contributions, consume already-debited donor escrow once and deliver the original physical shipment once. Native applicable stop/rate responses precede the bounded gate; zero/stopped shipments supply no award or Nexus cost. Public possible held-Nexus seats acknowledge uniformly; private Use changes no public price/source disclosure. Fresh classic/native-Guild/Nexus with optional genuinely seeded Homeworlds only; unsupported native Cunning/Richese shipment overlays block before card/parent commitment, and restored transport independently requires the native Guild grant. Bounded engine/SQL/bot/CLI/phone custody and refresh are locally verified; no new priority/immunity, ordinary occupation/rounding ruling or extra shipment. Broad/public/live gates remain closed. | Printed source and bounded contract, common protocol, internal checklist |
| Ixian Nexus Secret Ally replacement | Fresh classic/base33 Basic/Advanced or Basic Tleilaxu/classic Ix47, Ixians absent and Nexus alone. Spend the singleton Nexus to discard exactly the normal paid/printed-Karama purchased card before drawing the actual deck top; preserve original payment, income and auction suffix once. Full-hand and exhausted-deck same-card redraw remain legal. Uniform buyer Use/Pass is the existing development privacy policy, not publisher timing. Harkonnen buyers, special origins, other overlays and unresolved cache/bonus priority stay guarded; no public start or retrofit. Optional Sandtrout is omitted only in the fresh native branch. | Printed operation and base contract, native integration |
| Ixian Nexus Betrayal: Bidding or Technology | Fresh native-Ixian/classic-or-Tleilaxu Basic/Advanced local ixian-betrayal uses Ix47 Treachery and Nexus alone, with no initial Nexus deal or old-save retrofit. Resolve actual native Karama/BG counters first; a native denial opens no Nexus gate or cost. After all native passes, uniform publicly possible unallied non-Ixian held-Nexus seats acknowledge before the native effect; concealed face governs only private Use. These are bounded privacy/ordering inferences, not publisher universal priority. One physical Ixian Nexus denies one current Bidding attempt (normal count, no Ixian inspection/return) or one Advanced Technology declaration (both card locations preserved, attempt remains used); all-pass allows the original effect and suffix once. No whole-phase ban, completed undo, invented direct-Nexus Karama counter or blanket immunity. Richese special-lot exchange, wider priority/modules, complete games, strategy and public/live release remain open; verification is Planned pending frozen direct evidence. |
Photographed face and native source protocol, fresh local runtime and acceptance, five-facet internal topic |
| Harkonnen Nexus Betrayal local preview | Fresh classic/base33/Nexus-only harkonnen-betrayal admits genuine personal/allied native matching calls. Native allied Karama/BG allowance comes first; a provisional uniform acknowledgement precedes the original outcome. Use returns the exact physical traitor immediately and preserves one automatic private actual Mentat replacement. The local ordering/privacy convention is not publisher/user priority and does not answer the previously asked universal reaction policy; public starts, old-game retrofit, arbitrary stacks and combined modules remain gated. Bounded native/private/recovery/CLI/phone verification is Partial development verified, not complete modes or deployment. |
Bounded source contract, runtime limits |
| CHOAM Secret Ally | Absent-faction Collection trade spends one actual Worthless card and the Nexus for two bank spice. It is separate from native Cunning and Auditor; the battle inspection alternative remains missing. | Prototype contract |
| Sapho movement | At a clean boundary, first reorders only remaining unstarted turns; completed turns stay completed. Advanced Guild must have finished or be absent. Last retains existing protection after Guild. | Existing source contract, runtime |
| Basic CHOAM / Leader Skills | Compose existing ordinary skills with native sales and own-leader Ghola revival. Finish the private optional replacement before the exact suspended sale resumes. The free revival remains completed if the resumed sale is canceled. Basic uses five ordinary leaders and 35 Treachery Cards; Auditor remains Advanced and ineligible for skills. | Integration and source contracts |
| Basic Ixians / Leader Skills | Per-origin cyborg range, room-local HMS force routes, rescue before actual cyborg Tank substitution, Rihani before faction substitution and mandatory cleanup compose existing contracts. Ambiguous rescued cyborg reserve origins are explicit player choices. Exact green Ix Specials are Thumper, Harvester and Amal. | Integration and physical sources |
| Basic Tleilaxu / Leader Skills | Compose settled native Rihani Face Dancer eligibility, own revival offers and Face Dance death return through the full deck. Zoal copies opposing printed disc value for unmodified Smuggler collection. Advanced foreign gholas and existing skill questions remain gated. | Integration and sources |
| Native Ecaz / Leader Skills | Basic/Advanced Ecaz plus classic opponents retains the exact ecaz deck, five native assignment discs, public skills before Loyalty/Traitors and original placement. Ordinary rescue/death/own revival and Ambassador handlers compose. A separately acquired Duke6 may receive the normal Warmaster1, never trained-disc3; surviving release or printed6 death leaves the native trainer intact. Existing-skilled Ecaz paid5 Duke revival preserves the earlier living set-aside result, without authorizing Duke assignment. Advanced Harkonnen and combined Occupy skills remain bounded. | Native scope and source contracts, original Duke lifecycle |
| Leader Skills | Fourteen physical cards, variant setup order, public/hidden assignment, death return, own-leader revival and captured lower-band effects are sourced. Five battle disciplines, Planetologist movement/Special substitution, Suk Graduate rescues and common lifecycle are prototyped; Rihani, lower Mentat/Bureaucrat/Sandmaster, normal Smuggler and normal Diplomat now have connected follow-ups. Remaining bands and combinations stay missing. Known skilled capture identifies the leader through its unique public card. | Source contract, capture inference, runtime, Diplomat, Planetologist, Suk Graduate |
| Classic Leader Skills / Tech Tokens | Fresh classic3..6 Basic/Advanced, base33/all14, canonical unused three tokens and original setup/first-Storm owners. Existing leader-skills/banker-income entry preserves selected Tech; native/other overlays stay separate. Tech collects at phase end, independent Banker waits for actual Mentat; neither currency store is a recursive payment producer. Smuggler changes actual priced count; original Suk/Sandmaster precede card cleanup and mandatory token transfer. One token auto-transfers, several require choice, none skips. Mentat/Bureaucrat original bounds remain. This composes existing rules, not a new ruling or public activation. | Scope and evidence |
| Native E1/E2 Leader Skills / Tech Tokens | Fresh supported Ixian/Tleilaxu/CHOAM/Richese3..6 Basic/Advanced keeps original native deck/roster limits, all14 skills, cache and printed Tech setup. Original typed payments/rescue/card cleanup precede mandatory winner token reward; Tleilaxu A.1–3 expressly preserves that reward before Face Dance. Actual Charity affects Production, not Axlotl; native CHOAM initial income is not poverty Charity. Separate Banker/Mentat bounds and unrelated guards remain. E3/other overlays, public starts and save conversion are excluded. This composes sourced rules, not a new interpretation. | Scope, supplied physical21/38 and evidence |
| Advanced Leader Skills / Stronghold Cards | Fresh classic or supported E1/E2 native2..6 Advanced preserves all14 skills, six unused cards, original decks/cache/wallets and actual end-Mentat claims; optional Tech requires3..6. Arrakeen bank subsidy is separate from actual payer debit/Banker threshold and original CHOAM income. Physical defense/normal discipline, holder tie and Tabr/Tuek income compose original skill outcomes. Suk/native cleanup and mandatory Tech precede Face Dance, retaining original rewards and one killed-skill return. Copied-Diplomat/active skill-Stone and unrelated guards remain. Basic Strongholds, E3/other overlays, public starts and save conversion are excluded. | Authorized physical21/38, existing effects and evidence |
| Standalone E3 Skills / Tech / Stronghold Cards | Original Ecaz OR Moritani ecaz33/all14 rosters preserve Tech Basic/Advanced3..6 and Stronghold Advanced2..6, optionally both. Native Ecaz five-disc/temporary Duke/Advanced-Hark exclusion and Moritani skill-first assassination/normal-call forfeiture remain. Real claimed effects, original support/rescue, printed Duke6 or unused-disc bounty and one Mentat replacement compose native rewards without new ownership or income rules. E3 pairs, mixed families, allied Occupy skills, other overlays, public starts and save conversion remain excluded. | Source contracts and bounded evidence |
| Normal Mentat | The 11 October user-approved uniform private show step runs before posture/faction powers in new supported Leader Skills battles, without an extra opt-in. Matching and fallback preserve the same target-owned stage and held cards. Already-opened unversioned battles do not reopen; versioned receipts remain authoritative. Empty-hand interpretation and full/public acceptance remain separate. | Approved normal flow |
| Normal Spice Banker local preview | Fresh classic/base33 Basic/Advanced or supported Basic native skill profiles, all14 skills alone. One additional deferred bank spice per physical card/turn/phase for another payer's one actual bank payment ≥4; no payer pooling or advance spending. Tleilaxu self-revival pays Bank; other-player revival pays Tleilaxu unless canceled. The separate free-revival award never contributes to payer debit. Actual initialized Mentat collects once; original earned-faction retention and separate-payer threshold remain provisional local policies, not answers to pending custody/split questions. No public start, retrofit or other overlays. | Normal-band contract, native integration, skill authority |
| Advanced Stronghold faction integration | Fresh stronghold-factions admits selected E1/E2 native families and standalone Ecaz OR Moritani with classic2..6-seat Advanced, canonical selected decks and six Stronghold Cards; optional unused Tech Tokens requires3..6, without Leader Skills. Standalone E3 uses ecaz33; Moritani excludes Harkonnen. Ecaz co-control holds the card at Ecaz, but only the selected actual holder-plan receives its effect; fixed Ecaz strength is free, and Arrakeen funds only actual variable support. Losing Moritani retains printed Tuek income before original assassination, printed bounty and one actual Mentat replacement; winner cleanup finishes once and normal Traitor reveal forfeits assassination for the game. Existing E1/E2 No-Field/Stone/FaceDance and retained winner rewards remain. E3 pairs/mixed families, mixed No-Field/full-plan, Stone/Poison Tooth and other overlays stay guarded. This composes existing contracts, not a new ruling. Save/privacy/custody assurance follows all rules. |
E1/E2 scope, standalone E3 scope and evidence, native Tech composition |
| Native Tech without Leader Skills | Fresh3..6 Basic/Advanced selected E1/E2 native families or standalone Ecaz OR Moritani plus classics preserve original unused three Tech Tokens through factions; Advanced Strongholds use the existing native entry. Physical setup, printed/first-Storm owners, phase-end income and single-player complete-set victory are unchanged. Actual Ecaz selected lead receives the original opposing token, never a joint allied holding; Basic odd Occupy remains guarded. Moritani original forfeiture/assassination and winner Tech before Face Dance reuse existing handlers. No new ruling, wallet grant, public start or save conversion. |
Original composition/source and evidence, Stronghold contract |
| Classic Nexus / Tech / Strongholds | Fresh classic/base33/all12 Nexus may preserve original Tech3..6 Basic/Advanced and/or Strongholds2..6 Advanced, without Skills/HW/expansion decks or unrelated previews. Original closing deals, first-Storm Tech and actual end-Mentat card claims remain. Actual Nexus free-three returns invoke Axlotl without merging their extra/ordinary ledgers; industry collects once at native phase end. Borrowed tariffs never relocate Fremen on-planet reserves or native faction identity. Held Arrakeen pays actual support; temporary Sardaukar remain ordinary counters. Losing Moritani retention precedes original winner Tech, then CHOAM excludes every used opposing card. Bank purchase retains actual wallet/card without an industry trigger. Pending borrowed Voice, worm protection and Tleilaxu revival remain guarded; no public starts/save conversion or new ruling. | Composition/source and bounded evidence |
| Paired E1/E2 Nexus / Tech / Strongholds | Fresh both Ixians+Tleilaxu OR CHOAM+Richese plus classics with one original family deck/all12 Nexus preserves Tech3..6 Basic/Advanced and/or Strongholds2..6 Advanced, without Skills or other overlays. Original Cunning, typed Suboid/Cyborg loss and equal substitution, Face Dancer reward-before-replacement and draw-before-retirement, two physical No-Fields/one tariff, native industry at phase end and actual held/copy effects reuse original handlers. No mixed families, E3, new interpretations, public starts or played-game conversion. | Scope, sources and bounded evidence, Richese composition |
| Classic Nexus / Skills / Tech / Strongholds | Fresh classic original skill/Nexus entry retains selected unused Tech3..6 Basic/Advanced and/or Strongholds2..6 Advanced. Original setup/closing deals/owner timing, distinct free returns and phase-end industry remain. Held subsidy changes actual payer debit, not committed support/Suk entitlement; physical rescue precedes card cleanup and mandatory winner token choice. Original once-per-phase Bureaucrat diversion composes player payments. Captured-training leader revival remains blocked; public Ghola/ordinary options now omit those illegal choices rather than strand legal AI passes. Paired native combined components, HW, other previews, public/save conversion and new rulings stay guarded. | Combined source contract |
| Paired Nexus / Skills / Tech / Strongholds | Both Ixians+Tleilaxu OR CHOAM+Richese plus classics and one original family deck/all14/all12 preserve selected unused Tech3..6 Basic/Advanced and/or Strongholds2..6 Advanced through the original fresh skill/Nexus entry. Typed rescue precedes equal actual Cyborg Tank substitution, original card cleanup/mandatory winner Tech precedes Face Dance; held subsidy changes debit, not committed support, and reward/custody stay original winner. Signed marker pair/one invoice/native industry retains original timing. Bounded runtime/program/phone/genuine-game evidence does not certify full modules; mixed families/E3/HW/previews/companions/native Nexus free-return rulings/public start/save conversion stay guarded. | Paired combined contract and evidence |
| Classic Nexus / Leader Skills | Fresh classic/base33/all14 Skills/all12 Nexus, Basic/Advanced2..6, explicit leader-skills --nexus-cards, optionally original Tech3+/Advanced Strongholds2+ and Discovery7/8 through --discoveries; HW/variants/unrelated previews stay separate. Original starting hands/offers/skill-before-Traitor setup and actual closing Nexus draw remain. Exact extra/ordinary free-return ledgers, real bank purchase and committed Traitor declarations preserve trained-disc custody. Temporary ordinary-as-Sardaukar roles compose actual skill posture/bonuses/support; matching Cunning casualty receipt stays pending through original Suk rescue and completes only after physical settlement. Source-guarded borrowed Smuggler arithmetic, Atreides Suk/KH and unresolved effects remain; no public start, retrofit or new ruling. |
Scope, sources and bounded evidence, Skill runtime |
| Paired E1/E2 Nexus / Leader Skills | Fresh both Ixians+Tleilaxu OR CHOAM+Richese plus classics, one original family deck/all14 Skills/all12 Nexus, Basic/Advanced2..6, explicit original skill entry; optional original Discovery7/8 through the same private envelope. Actual native setup/offers/closing draws remain. Full unsupported Suboids compose typed Suk rescue before equal actual Tank substitution; Face Dance follows original winner outcomes, kills/returns the winning trainer skill once without another bounty, and partial Cunning retains ordinary Mentat rights. Richese pair uses its original signed two-token frame/one invoice/native response/Guild continuation, not single-marker skill proof; CHOAM printed fuel/Planetologist physical route remain separate. No other overlays, companion/mixed-plan/new ruling/public starts or retrofit. | Scope, sources and bounded evidence, Skill runtime |
| Standalone E3 Nexus / Leader Skills / Discovery | Fresh one native Ecaz OR Moritani plus classics, exact ecaz33/all14/all12/Discovery7/8, Basic/Advanced2–6, optional Tech3+/Advanced Strongholds2+ through the same original skill entry. Real quiet living/unclaimed Duke Cunning stays separate from training; later Nexus alliance opens a genuine owner-labelled mandatory Occupy with physical payments/cleanup/Tech. Moritani keeps Advanced skill-first assassination/printed bounty/one private Mentat replacement and Basic without that power. Advanced Harkonnen, shared Duke, paired/mixed E3, enhanced Terror/HMS/Grumman and other pending effects stay guarded. | Scope and bounded evidence, Skill runtime |
| Nexus / Discovery / original components | Fresh classic/base33/all12/Discovery7/8 Basic/Advanced2–6 optionally retains all14 original Skills through leader-skills --nexus-cards --discoveries; supported paired E1/E2 and standalone E3 skill families additionally retain their original native components. Separate nexus --discoveries admits classic factions or both native E1 Ixians+Tleilaxu/Ix47 OR E2 CHOAM+Richese/CHOAM35+cache without Skills. Optional unused Tech3+/Advanced Strongholds2+ retain original setup/claims. Actual Maker losses/votes/typed rides, both Advanced piles and settled alliance precede the end-Spice closing draw. Source-clear return ledgers, trained battle and signed two-marker one-invoice/current-revealed-site native materialization use original handlers. Mixed/E3 pairs, HW/variants/previews and unresolved mixed-module Fremen Betrayal remain gated; no new universal interruption priority or ruling. |
Combined contract and bounded evidence, Nexus source contract |
| Discovery / original Advanced Strongholds | Fresh original Discovery classic/selected E1/E2/standalone E3 and supported all14 Skills entries retain Strongholds6 Advanced2–6, optional Tech3–6 and original end-Mentat claims. Named held benefits or actual HMS copy do not inherit into nested locations; Jacurutu creates no seventh card. Live supported Ecaz Discovery feeds mandatory original coalition lead/armies/payment/aftermath rather than skipping legal battle. Native typed/marker, trained rescue and winner Tech retain their sources. Basic Strongholds, HW/variants/previews/pending rules/public starts/save conversion remain separate. | Bounded contract and original programmes, native trained composition, mandatory Ecaz repair |
| Native Leader Skills / Discovery | Original supported native Basic/Advanced family/roster predicates retain selected native decks/hands/all14 and Discovery7/8, optional Tech3+/Advanced Strongholds2+. Typed rescue precedes actual Cyborg substitution; original cleanup/Tech precedes Face Dance. Native stash/invoice/green marker and trained assassination/own revival keep physical sources. Actual starting hands/offers are authoritative. Hidden-Smuggler legal participation uses the engine's projected support quote, not private-state profile reconstruction. Native Ecaz owner-labelled coalition remains; no shared-Duke training, new ruling, other overlays/public starts or conversion. | Bounded native contract and original runtime/human evidence, Smuggler capture repair |
| Discoveries | Preserve seven sourced Spice Cards/eight tokens, faction peeks and Collection choices. Fresh classic/native E1/E2/standalone E3 may retain original Tech3..6; separate fresh classic all14 Skills/Discovery/Tech uses original training, entry, movement, stash, rescue/rewards and Bureaucrat invoices. Native setup, revealed-only No-Fields and Moritani source histories remain. Advanced Orgiz uses the supplied p24 territory-Collection trigger; Basic stays provisional per deposit. Only Jacurutu adds a stronghold. Contested/shared/mixed cases, other combinations and public starts remain unfinished. | Component authority, native composition, classic Skills/Advanced source cutover |
| Guild Secret Ally | One explicit Guild-priced ordinary shipment; borrowed prices/routes preserve native identity. Free Fremen reinforcement remains a separate choice. | Route contract, verified runtime |
| Homeworld custody and mobility | Physical home/visitor groups, population thresholds, tariffs and transport permissions retain distinct sources; Homeworld immunity is not universal immunity. | Homeworld rules, benefits, mobility, invasion, Guild transport |
| Homeworld effects | Keep original payment/revival/placement identities and qualification observations; observations alone do not choose an occupied-benefit owner. | Payments, card economy, Collection, revival deployment, victory reinforcement, replacement, Tupile |
| Duke Vidal revival custody | The user selected set-aside custody after Ecaz revives the shared disc: revival clears the Tanks but does not itself grant battle control. Ecaz still needs a separate Ambassador or Nexus acquisition; only Ecaz may revive Duke, including by Ghola. This resolves one post-revival product interpretation, not the separate six-disc repeated-cycle, exceptional capture or battle-used Ghola questions. No publisher clarification assigning a post-revival controller was located. | Publisher Ecaz/Moritani pp. 7–9, revival readiness |
| Mirror Weapon copied-card cleanup | The user selected ordinary winner retention for the physical Mirror even if its effective copy activates Tooth or Artillery. The original Tooth/Artillery cards retain their named mandatory-discard exceptions. This is a product interpretation, not a located publisher ruling. Independent copy-first Tooth/Stone choices and physical cleanup now have a bounded CHOAM/Richese-deck battle runtime; combined modules and full Richese games remain gated. | Printed Mirror face and source audit |
| Kull Wahad preview timing | User selected a distinct eligible counter while the interrupted physical card stays reserved, and BG Worthless interception before conversion/discard. Pending declaration is not a ban; only success stamps turn/phase and retains original/special once-use. Decline or prevention resumes the original once. Old kull stays printed-only; fresh nexus-kull admits native CHOAM plus classic Basic/Advanced seats, CHOAM/Ix Treachery and Nexus alone, without physical Sandtrout. Nexus Use needs actual unallied CHOAM Nexus and canonical eligible own fuel: accepted declaration spends Nexus even if prevented, fuel stays held until success. Use requires source/event/card, with no old-source action shim or proactive Kull. Verified prior printed counter saves migrate only their selection binding; no new-choice retrofit. Reservations, promises and remaining winning-payment coverage constrain fuel/counters; ordinary retained Karama payment is not a canceled Cunning effect. Priority/custody/overbid are user policy; neutral timing/spend conventions are application policy. Bounded checks/CLI/runtime/phone cases pass; broader verification is Partial and no full/public/deployed gate opens. |
Selected preview policy, source/cost boundary, runtime and remaining limits, new evidence |
| Semuta full-hand exchange | User selected Allow exchange: acquisition followed by Semuta disposal is an atomic net-zero hand exchange at the faction limit. Existing incoming reservations still consume capacity; this does not permit an already overfull hand or settle Box/Richese purchase timing. | Selected capacity policy |
| Semuta / native Basic Terror | Fresh local semuta additionally admits Basic Richese/Moritani plus classics, CHOAM/Ecaz decks and no optional modules. Private Sabotage/Robbery overflow after clean ordinary shipment/movement arrivals uses the existing neutral all-seat response and committed-only face access. Original victim/draw, removed token, payment, forces and optional gift remain original. Other arrival parents, Advanced Moritani and wider family mixtures remain implementation boundaries, not printed Semuta prohibitions. |
Source and bounded evidence, native suffix |
Shipment and mixed current-fact/shipment AND/OR follow the FAQ's whole-question truth: Yes to AND requires all, Yes to OR requires one, and No negates the whole. Current facts freeze privately at definite answer; later legal holdings changes do not rewrite them or add a retention obligation. One eventual shipment or skip must honor all separate promises. Unknown is not false. See mixed compounds; earlier timing, other future actions and existing module gates remain unfinished.
Current Truthtrance force facts count physical counters in reserves, the Tanks or one exact live board location. Totals include elites; normal counts subtract them. Advisors remain counters, and concealed No-Field markers/values are excluded. These are current observations, not future obligations; no typed distribution is invented when Basic lacks separate starred-counter tracking. See the force-fact source composition.
For future interactions with no publisher ruling discoverable after targeted research, use the conservative recommended interpretation and document it as an implementation choice rather than soliciting another preference. Earlier pending questions below remain recorded until their relevant work is revisited.
Pending interpretations: preserve existing questions
These are unresolved in the cited records. Do not infer an answer from elapsed time, a fixture, a related card or this index. Check subsequent recorded user/source decisions before proceeding; do not send duplicate questions.
| Boundary | Still unresolved | Existing record |
|---|---|---|
| Reinforcements cost | The user question still asks whether to keep the card disabled, always transfer three reserve forces on every outcome, or waive only a sole traitor-call winner's cost; no answer is assumed. The bounded classic and Ecaz/Moritani prototype provisionally charges on all revealed outcomes, chooses normal reserves before elite and counts the transfer as battle losses. Those are product interpretations, not a ruling. Same-plan Harass/Stone Burner remain gated; opposing Harass is supported. Eligibility never depends on concealed matching Traitors. | Source cost review · Bounded runtime |
| Harass / Stone Burner | A user question has been sent: keep the combination gated or compare forces remaining after withdrawal. No answer is assumed. The Richese card-family configuration is guarded publicly; hidden Stone Burner custody never controls eligibility. Ambiguous physical allocations and other optional modules remain unfinished. | Current boundaries |
| Recruits late accounting and rates | The earlier one/two-further-free question remains unanswered. The content-first prototype now preserves paid spice, deducts recorded actual free usage from the doubled rate and all returns from the total cap: two-free/one-paid Atreides can take two more free. This is visibly provisional, not a numerical user ruling. Unknown ledgers, pending repricing, late rate changes and same-turn replay remain guarded. | Source alternatives, provisional runtime |
| Sapho remaining timing | First versus unspent Advanced Guild priority, partly completed combined turns, cyclic auction duration and later battle timing stay guarded. The existing pre-plan opportunity supports early aggressor. Prior questions remain unanswered. | Source audit, battle review |
| Semuta Drug | Full-hand exchange is user-approved; neutral all-seat acknowledgements remain the explicit application policy. Other discard producers, nested continuation coverage and full-game acceptance remain unfinished. | Source update and selected exchange, privacy review |
| Leader Skills edge cases | Capture/replacement eligibility, Banker escrow custody, Smuggler modifiers, Mentat empty-hand fallback, late/mirror/numeric Diplomat defenses and simultaneous optional timing remain source gaps. Owned multi-pile Smuggler/Sandmaster allocation and printed alternate/hybrid defense roles now have connected, explicitly interpreted paths. The bounded Diplomat retreat prototype chooses printed/copied strength and surviving-loser retreat before casualties; this is not an official priority clarification. | Material boundaries and retreat, Defense limits |
| Smuggler collection strength | A fresh primary-source check found no modifier ruling. The user was asked whether to keep affected combinations gated, use printed/copied disc value, or include leader bonuses with Stunner zero. No answer is assumed. The reveal-bound deferred receipt is supported as an explicit timing inference; unmodified lower collection and owned multi-pile allocation are now prototyped. Modified strength and remaining exceptional compositions stay guarded. | Smuggler follow-up |
| Ordinary Guild cancellation | Unaffordable repricing, replacement/retry/decline, consumed opportunity, contributor adjustment and ordering with special shipment-stop. The affordability question was already sent. | Material timing |
| Repeat Karama on a canceled compulsory cache lot | After one Karama cancels the compulsory Richese cache auction and restores the ordinary pool, the engine currently still accepts a second Karama against the resumed window and re-derives the ordinary count from the frozen pre-cache field. Whether a repeat cancellation should be refused is not settled; the invariant that a canceled lot never restores more than its frozen pre-cache count does hold. | Richese auction source, exhausted-cache runtime |
| Base special Karama | Unfunded auction recovery, stopped-shipment settlement and Atreides full-plan commitment order remain provisional. Native full-plan/Voice/Prescience/Truthtrance/Ghola interactions now have genuine-setup focused evidence, but the source audit does not settle the special offer/deadline or target-first interpretation. | Explicit base interpretations, full-plan interaction audit |
| Homeworld high-threshold revival deployment | The publisher does not state whether a return that itself first reaches the high threshold may deploy on that same return. The content-first prototype evaluates the resulting population, so the crossing return qualifies; this is a visibly provisional composition, not a located timing ruling. The Tleilaxu low-income start-condition snapshot is unchanged, and partial groups, split destinations, storm placement, allied-Homeworld limits and shipment-classified entry effects remain guarded. | Benefits contract, resumption record |
| Occupied Homeworlds | The publisher question about retention after departure, replacement or contest, unique-power composition and shared income remains open; the first-occupier/current-occupier question was already sent. The content-first Basic benefit selector now uses the visibly provisional current-sole policy above (Tupile excepted), which is an implementation choice, not an answer to that question. | Occupation questions, lifecycle audit, Basic policy |
| Nexus responses and composition | Betrayal private-response timing, partial revival/payment choices, Emperor fewer-than-five, fresh advisor/storm cases, Duke restoration and remaining faction-specific combinations. Tleilaxu Secret Ally force accounting, leader slot/eligibility and force-only use remain unresolved after requested publisher/designer source searches; do not infer answers from native Tleilaxu revival or Ghola. | Common boundaries, Tleilaxu source search and individual faction source/runtime documents |
| Moritani Atomics after alliance change | The publisher's persistent −1 hand-limit text names Moritani and “your ally,” but not whether the penalty follows a later ally, remains on the original ally or affects both. Requested online source searches found no clarification; the alliance-change case remains gated. | Terror source boundary |
| Moritani Sneak Attack entry classification | The printed verb is “Send”; no retrieved ruling classifies the off-planet reserve transfer as a shipment for other arrival powers. The engine now explicitly adopts the supported shipment composition: a positive Sneak Attack in Shipment and Movement accrues the Heighliners token once for its owner, then offers the Bene Gesserit Intrusion (Advanced, with fighters present) and the free spiritual-advisor shipment, with the committed Terror entry resolving first; a zero-force resolution accrues nothing and opens no reaction. This order is an implementation interpretation, not a publisher ruling. | Source boundary and adopted classification |
| Orgiz collection | Basic retains the publisher-p13 per-blow ambiguity and provisional one-transfer-per-positive-deposit mapping. Authorized supplied Advanced rulebook physical24 instead says each time Collection occurs in a territory containing spice: Advanced applies one transfer per actual positive territory Collection, only to a unique rival payer. Multiple source keys do not add transfers. Contested ownership, inconsistent/different payers and Ecaz shared lots still withhold only uncertain transfers; ordinary Collection proceeds. No new publisher ruling on those pending cases is claimed. | Advanced source cutover and Basic boundary |
| Jacurutu physical dial | The user question asks whether the losing player should choose the physical normal/elite forces represented by its dial. When legal Advanced allocations produce different rewards, income remains explicitly unpaid; numeric wheel subtraction is not a ruling. | Discovery interpretations |
| Testing Station contest/timing | Only sole non-advisor occupation is prototyped. Two-occupant priority/stacking remains unresolved; opening after the ordinary storm-card window is an explicit source-timing inference. Weather Control is excluded by the printed text. | Discovery interpretations |
| CHOAM Secret Ally battle timing | The printed after-victory inspection is optional and the Nexus identity stays secret. The connected prototype chooses a uniform use-or-continue window for every winner when Nexus is enabled and CHOAM absent; nonholders pass, while a holder may decide after the result. This privacy-preserving prompt is a product inference, not publisher text. A holder-only pause would reveal custody and a precommitment would remove the printed choice. Ordinary Karama cancellation remains unestablished by retrieved sources; no response is invented. | After-victory inspection boundary |
| Moritani Secret Ally battle timing | The printed after-loss retention is optional and the Nexus card remains secret. The connected prototype offers the same choice to every loser when Moritani is absent and at least one publicly revealed played card is retainable; a loser with no eligible public card has no useful choice, independent of hidden custody. Only an unallied holder may spend the physical card. This prompt is a privacy-preserving product inference, not publisher timing text. Native Moritani alliance retention and its Karama response remain separate; no generic Secret Ally counter is invented. | Nexus retention boundary |
| Ecaz Secret Ally traitor inquiry | The printed panel asks one selected player whether they hold any of the holder's leaders as Traitors, without identifying a leader; it specifies neither native-versus-controlled scope nor answer audience. The connected prototype chooses native printed faction leaders (including dead/captured), ordinary Traitor Cards rather than Face Dancers, and a holder-only historical yes/no. This is a privacy-preserving product interpretation, not a publisher ruling. Foreign Ghola/captive scope and table-wide disclosure remain release boundaries. | Ecaz inquiry source and bounded runtime |
| Ecaz native Nexus Cunning timing | The printed Cunning takes Duke for this turn even from capture, Tanks or Ghola, without a phase. The quiet Battle prototype now covers living control or set-aside Tanks. Tanks preserve deaths and reset use under a provisional independent-resurrection policy; this is not a numerical user ruling. Captured/Ghola return destinations and Advanced Harkonnen remain guarded; ordinary Ambassador and paid-revival custody are unchanged. | Source and bounded runtime |
| Emperor Secret Ally purchase timing | The bounded normal bank-auction prototype chooses a uniform winner payment confirmation in classic-faction Nexus-only games with Emperor absent, including otherwise sole spice payments. This prevents a holder-only pause from exposing hidden card eligibility. It is a provisional product privacy choice, not a user or publisher ruling; the previously asked confirmation-versus-gate question remains open. Seller-paid/allied purchases and other sources stay gated. | Source contract and bounded prototype, runtime |
| Discovery prototype inferences | Free entry uses storm order and ordinary source-storm restrictions; these are general-rule inferences. Great Maker currently follows ordinary first-turn worm skipping and Sandtrout suppression; an exhausted token type creates no replacement token. These preserve current source interpretation and physical inventory but are not separately confirmed rulings or complete combined-module certification. | Interpretations for refinement |
| Other Homeworld combinations | Population/force splitting, removal custody, replacement shortages, income accounting and placement ordering remain local to their detailed contracts. | Homeworld rules, occupation and the effect documents above |
