The game screen has six key areas:

1) Money: The total in your account is
|
|
displayed in the top center of the screen,
|
|
and will automatically update as targets
|
|
are destroyed.

|
2) Shield Status: The status bar for your
|
|
regular shields is displayed along the right
|
|
side of the screen. As you take damage,
|
|
the meter will decrease. Your shields will
|
|
recharge, as long as you are not firing, in
|
|
all difficulty levels, except Elite.
