Guild shipment rates and ordinary Karama

Initial primary-source and engine audit, 2026-09-06. The bounded ordinary-reserve cancellation policy below was selected on 2026-09-28 after a targeted publisher-source search found no affordability procedure; the later original audit remains historical evidence for unfinished transport and module combinations.

Concealed No-Field transport — 27 October 2026

Native allied cross-shipment now accepts an owned concealed Richese marker, alone or with same-origin physical counters. The marker contributes one to the rounded group price, including value0, without becoming a physical counter. Native permission precedes the existing rate response; all-pass pays/delivers once. Permission denial leaves original custody/event and shipment unused. Rate denial retains the existing full-price/original-split affordability policy; an unfunded declaration withdraws without delivery, with the responding card still spent. Ordinary Guild allies still have no reserve-return permission.

The real absent-Guild Nexus Secret Ally instead supplies its own cross/return grant and Bank-paid rate. Its concealed return provisionally recalls the token face down, preserves the next-shipment restriction and deposits only actual physical companions. Cross keeps the token concealed. Current token/event and the physical group remain bound through the original declaration/continuation. Old transport frame signatures keep their original bytes when no marker is present. This selected source composition does not settle broader module combinations. Source and scope.

Scoped native evidence

Frozen15-file union120/120, types/lint/build and eight original-game programmes pass. Actual paid tokens, real R/G or A/E alliance consents and a real closing Guild Nexus draw create the new sources. Native all-pass, permission denial, funded/unfunded rate denial, Secret cross/return and physical1+marker5 return retain the original response/payment pipeline.33 GameTable SSR,8 quote renders and8 actual Finish callbacks are recorded; transport controls use native packets directly, without a clicked-selector or browser claim. Source/further arrays are773/36. Separate controlled quote/bot cases cover physical20+marker1.

Feedback repaired actual closing-draw eligibility, the common bot source filter, two old explicitly controlled fixtures' stale Charity frame and the signature array type. Failed v1/v2 results remain preserved. Final v3 uses one frozen source then a three-document evidence overlay; original physical signatures retain bytes. Existing server HTTP200, no restart or game/database operation. Proof: /home/quintine/.local/share/dune/checkpoints/20261027-guild-no-field-transport-proof-v3/; runtime: adjacent 20261027-guild-no-field-transport-runtime/run-v1/. Broader modules, depleted native supply, full modes and final browser/deployed and recovery/privacy/custody acceptance remain open.

Nullentropy recovery of the price cost — 26 October 2026

Paid Box recovery now shares the existing claimed-cost nonduplication policy: recovering the exact original cost ends its future provisional stop refund, even after rediscard, without canceling or transferring the purchased price. Recovering another card leaves any still-unclaimed cost under its existing exact-card refund rule. This removes the old blanket Box search guard without claiming a new publisher timing ruling. Current Box contract.

Purchased rate with native Richese Cunning — 25 October 2026

The native unallied pair now retains an original independently purchased rate: one billable pair unit plus any High paid counters, halved and rounded once, entirely bank-paid. Identity is bound through the original pending frame even when a stronghold's rounded fee stays one. Native No-Field prevention retains the unused grant and spent Nexus; successful delivery consumes the grant. Advanced Guild stopping retains the existing provisional exact-card refund and live claimed-cost exclusion below. This extends a prototype boundary, without supplying a new native Guild rate or resolving wider combinations. Canonical composition and evidence.

Recovered purchase cost and stop refund — 16 October 2026

Semuta now offers an original printed shipment-price activation cost. Recovery changes physical card custody, not the grant's original creator, beneficiary, half-normal price or bank-only routing. The selected extension to the older provisional special-stop refund policy preserves that grant but ends refund eligibility for the claimed cost, even if later rediscarded. Thus the same recovered card can legally pay Guild's stop without also being returned to its former owner. Unclaimed costs retain the existing refund. Canonical policy and original/controlled proof.

Native price with Richese Secret Ally — 15 October 2026

The original Guild holder's Richese source now keeps its one-counter bill through native rate cancellation: sand1→2 while five actual counters remain five. Its spent Nexus and unchanged ordinary movement are independent. An unfunded full2 abandons that declaration with no refund or reusable coupon, but preserves the ordinary full-price shipment. This is the selected existing no-debt/spent-card composition, not a new publisher worked example. A still-held source quotes the canceled rate correctly; an independent purchased ordinary price remains separate. Canonical source policy and 92-case/eleven-original-path/four-mobile-journey proof retain the distinction from native Richese Cunning, which has no Guild rate.

Purchased price with immune sponsorship — 15 October 2026

The subsequent Junction cutover removes the separate purchased-price/ sponsorship gate recorded below. The offered Homeworld tariff remains immune and normal payment routing is unchanged: no quarter price or borrowed bank-only rule. Choosing it with a purchased ordinary grant requires an explicit unused-price acknowledgment, no card refund, and actual delivery before grant consumption. Failed, declined or deferred acceptance retains the grant; the ordinary purchased route remains an alternative. This is a selected conservative product composition, not a new publisher worked example. Canonical source choice and 131-case, fourteen-path, four-mobile-journey evidence distinguish eleven original runtime paths from three controlled continuations.

Permission purchase and allied marker composition — 15 October 2026

Three distinct sources now remain distinct end to end:

  • Native cross/return permission: a separate guildTransportPermission response holds the exact original group before payment/departure. Denial leaves a legal different shipment or movement and does not cancel native half price. The conservative provisional interpretation prevents immediate cross/return redeclaration for that original shipment opportunity; a signed Cunning second opportunity is distinct. It is not a new publisher example or a ban on an independent Junction Homeworld permission.
  • Purchased ordinary Karama price: the authorized supplied Advanced rulebook, PDF physical page16, Karama Cards, says “Purchase any player’s Force Shipment at Guild rates (½ normal), paid to the Spice Bank.” Original typed world-to-world and independently eligible Guild Arrakis/ return routes now use that source without granting new transport rights. The entire approved invoice goes to bank, including donor shares; native rate cancellation cannot erase the independent card. Actual completion consumes only its grant. Guild special-stop reuses the older provisional policy: return the exact physical purchase card to its original owner, clear that grant, use shipment, and preserve movement/resources.
  • Allied Richese marker price: charge one paid marker, never materialized zero/five forces. A recipient-funded half1 can become full2; a supplier’s original whole-price approval1 cannot silently become2, even when wealthy. Return it unchanged and require a new explicit full-price offer/consent. The existing Guild-recipient bank-only payee precedence remains provisional.

Selected prepayment composition is original Guild special interception → native transport permission → native rate → original settlement. Common Guild world-to-foreign-world permission does not depend on cross/return and has no extra permission counter. This ordering is a bounded product choice, not a newly located comprehensive timing FAQ. Legacy rate-only receipts keep their absent-field signature and do not reopen an earlier permission stage.

Mobile smoke caught stale lender UI/AI pricing: a lender’s own view could not infer its recipient’s canceled rate. Both now use the same authorized recipient-specific richeseNoField.allyPricing quote. Canonical pricing takes explicit source booleans rather than accepting an ambiguous whole Game/View; no private recipient wallet is added.

Twenty main runtime/policy paths pass:15 original-action and five explicitly controlled. Four additional controlled planning probes permit optional non-reoffer and prove executable recipient continuations, not strategic tuning. Five actual styled390px journeys cover prevention plus immune Junction, actual gifted world price, fresh supplier full2 consent, controlled special stop/refund, and separate typed permission allowance then rate cancellation. No overflow/application exception; one initial Vite dependency request aborted. The owned memory-only QA reload retained exact synthetic states; no real room, database, human server, deployed revision or publication gate changed.

An already-purchased price combined with a Junction-sponsored offer retains its prior separate-composition gate and is tracked next. Other specialized sources, complete combinations and final assurance remain unfinished. Source authority, loan policy and consent. Affected25-file 263/263 passes across the frozen237-case related selection and26 additional module/typed producers. This is targeted rules evidence, not a full suite, recovery campaign or complete-mode certification. Final npm run check:quick and production build pass; the20 main runtime paths and four controlled continuation probes pass again on the final source. Existing module-register/chunk/Unknown-route warnings remain. Eleven current local links and both five-facet evidence sets resolve.

Native price-source composition — 15 October 2026

Native rate eligibility is now determined by the original price/source, not global Homeworld/Skills/Discovery/Tech/Stronghold exclusions. Original module setup remains intact. A Smuggler ordinary shipment reprices only its paid counters; one independently free companion stays free. An own concealed No-Field prices one marker, never its hidden value, with any free companion still independent. Its existing private proof follows only authenticated rate-event and price transitions.

Native Guild world-to-world, Arrakis-to-foreign-world and return-to-Junction declarations retain exact typed sources and approved funding. Original manual or automatic Guild interception precedes the separate native rate window. The canonical quote/context and both actual owner controls honor the canceled native tariff. Cunning Homeworld receipts retain their original second allowance through allow/cancel or uncommitted release and replacement.

No immunity or alternate price is canceled by analogy. Junction-sponsored half/full transport keeps its printed Homeworld tariff despite an active native cancellation; non-Guild world-to-world remains full price and the independent Guild Secret Ally price remains separate. Allied No-Field, paired/special price receipts and transport-permission cancellation retain their own unfinished boundaries; this is not universal route acceptance.

Guild Betrayal may defer actual payment after a rate cancellation. The full-price authorization now remains until its original physical invoice settles; it is not cleared when merely queued. Six controlled source cases exercise reserve/cross/Homeworld Use or Pass at the full fee without replay. Native Skills/No-Field integrity accepts one original rate response as well as the preceding cancellation/interception stages. The shared quiet fixture also supplies the real Ambassador event when declining; no legality is bypassed.

Affected18-file 198/198, including32 new source cases, and 21 runtime/ policy paths pass. Seventeen runtime paths use original actions; four use explicitly controlled Cunning/No-Field sources. All four owner policies pass the original native Homeworld rate here; strategy is not calibrated. Four actual styled390px journeys prove composed Smuggler shipping, native typed return, unaffordable world-to-world replacement and controlled No-Field reveal. Payment/transfer once, original movement/turn resumes; no overflow/ browser errors. Donor escrow was paid when pledged, not debited again. No saved/deployed rooms, comprehensive assurance or public gates changed. This supersedes the earlier blanket module exclusions below, not the standing provisional affordability/return policy or remaining source limits. Final types/lint/build pass with existing deprecation/chunk/Unknown-route warnings. A separate controlled runtime also settles the original deferred Betrayal full3 invoice through actual Use. Current links/evidence resolve.

Native expansion and Nexus admission — 15 October 2026

The native prepayment rate window now admits expansion factions and Nexus without requiring a classic-only roster/deck. Homeworlds, Leader Skills, Discovery, Tech Tokens and Stronghold Cards retain separate rate integration gates. Special source/No-Field/Smuggler/borrowed-price receipts remain distinct. An actual discount must exist: one force to a stronghold costs one at either rounded rate and has no discount to remove.

Original Ecaz/Moritani/Guild setup, real Karama auction, paid token and actual Moritani/Guild alliance reproduce the missing window: transport3 previously paid two and moved immediately into income. Now the exact group waits at half2/full3 before any debit or transfer. Allow retains two; a real Karama charges three or, if unaffordable, spends only that card and returns the uncommitted attempt. A full-price replacement cannot regain the discount. The existing approved contribution split and provisional no-debt/return policies are unchanged; rate, permission and income remain separate.

Cunning uses the same opportunity, not a cleared flag. Its original shipped history remains true. Both rate validators use source-aware shipmentAvailable. The pending reserve receipt binds its temporary rate event and later settled price; rate allowance/cancellation reaches the original second-shipment completion. Unaffordable release removes only the uncommitted frame, retaining that second allowance for a full-price replacement. The first shipment, ordinary movement and spent Nexus never reopen.

Affected nine-file 101/101 passes, including seven action-only native reserve/cross/return cases and six Cunning reserve/cross allow/cancel/ unaffordable cases using its existing explicitly controlled fixture. Five action-only original API/policy paths pass; all four policies pass the native window and pay two in this position. A separate controlled Cunning declaration proves the originally failing true-shipped transition.

Three actual styled390px GameTable journeys perform full-price cancellation, unaffordable withdrawal/replacement and Cunning reserve repricing through Finish Guild turn. The first two use the action-only native producer; the Cunning scene explicitly uses its older controlled final-setup fixture. No overflow/browser errors. Loopback/in-memory only: no saved/deployed room, recovery certification, module/public gate or full-mode claim.

Implemented payment follow-up

The shared contributor-income calculation and private Guild transport quotes were integrated in the earlier payment checkpoint. November 2020 direct contribution routing credits a non-Guild ally’s contribution when Guild ships; Guild’s own contribution still goes to the bank. The source adjudication, earlier 1,600-check checkpoint and browser evidence are in GUILD_SHIPMENT_PAYMENTS.md. That checkpoint preceded the bounded rate-cancellation path below.

Selected ordinary-reserve interpretation — 28 September 2026

In classic-faction Basic and Advanced tables without optional modules, Guild or its reciprocal ally declaring an ordinary reserve shipment at the Guild rate opens a prepayment Karama response. Advanced Guild's separate special shipment-stop decision resolves first. A Karama spent against the rate does not cancel Guild income, permission to ship, or an independent Karama-purchased discount. The original number and types of forces, destination and approved ally contribution are fixed while opponents respond.

If Karama cancels the rate, recalculate the same force shipment at the normal one/two-spice-per-force price. If the shipper and the original approved split can fund it, transfer that exact amount and then commit the original shipment once; another faction's pledge is never silently increased. Otherwise the declaration returns with no spice, forces or shipment allowance spent. The responding Karama is still discarded. A replacement ordinary shipment in this turn uses full price; the restriction expires at turn end. An independent purchased Karama rate remains separate. This is the recommended conservative software interpretation where the publisher does not prescribe the unaffordable outcome: no forced debt, retroactive cancellation or unauthorized ally charge. It is not an asserted GF9 timing/refund ruling. GF9 November FAQ, p. 7

The initial reserve version preceded the native transport extension below. Optional-module rate sources, Homeworld advantages and special combinations still need their own integration; this does not certify the complete Guild faction or public Advanced rules.

Native transport extension — 29 September 2026

The same prepayment Karama response now covers classic Guild cross-planet transport and Guild returns to abstract reserves, as well as reciprocal allies' cross-planet transport (including Fremen southern reserves). Persist the exact source-sector/elite groups, origin, destination, approved contributor split and current turn. Return and cross declarations move no spice or counters until this response settles. On cancellation, charge the normal destination tariff for those exact forces if the original split can fund it; otherwise release the declaration without transfer or shipment use, keeping a replacement at full price for the rest of this turn. A changed source or destination during the response withdraws the uncommitted attempt rather than inventing forces or debt. Independently purchased Karama shipping retains its separate half-rate and bank payment.

For a canceled Guild return to reserves, full price means one spice per returned force rather than the printed one spice per two, rounded up. The doubled-tariff computation follows the publisher's instruction to pay full price but lacks a return-specific numeric FAQ example. It is an explicit conservative table interpretation, not a newly found publisher ruling. Canceling transport permission or later Guild income remains a separate use of Karama. Homeworld/world-to-world/module combinations are not certified by this bounded classic continuation.

Confirmed source contract

The November 2020 FAQ distinguishes canceling Guild income for one shipment, its own half-price use, rates granted to one ally, cross-planet/return transport, and Advanced out-of-order action. General cancellation affects one use; alliance powers are cancelable. The older April FAQ contradicts the transport restriction and should not override November. Independent Karama shipment purchase can benefit another player and pays the bank. GF9 November FAQ, p. 7

The Ixian/Tleilaxu Karama reference separately lists removal of the discount, requiring full price; prohibition of cross-planet/return transport; and income redirection to the bank. Canceling one does not automatically cancel all three. Its explicit out-of-order timing is when Guild attempts that change; it gives no comparably precise announcement/payment sentence for the discount. GF9 Ixian & Tleilaxu, final Karama reference, PDF p. 12

Ordinary reserve shipment costs one spice per force into a stronghold, two elsewhere. Guild pays half; its ally can ship from reserves or across the planet at that rate. Return to reserves belongs to Guild itself and normally costs one spice per two forces. Fractions round up. GF9 base rules, pp. 9, 19, 23

An ally may pay some or all of a shipment, up to its price. That contribution normally goes directly to Guild, or to the bank if Guild is absent. Guild's own contribution to its ally goes to the bank, rather than returning to Guild. Removing the rate does not cancel ordinary allied payment permission. Fremen's ordinary reserve entry remains exempt from Karama cancellation. GF9 November FAQ, pp. 2, 7

Scope and composition

Shipment Rate cancellation contract
Guild reserves to Dune Remove Guild discount: one/two spice per force according to destination.
Guild cross-planet Same destination pricing after discount removal; canceling permission to cross-ship is a separate power cancellation.
Guild return to reserves The table says full price, but no retrieved example explicitly recalculates this special return tariff. One spice per force is the natural doubled-tariff interpretation, not a dedicated FAQ result.
Guild ally reserves to Dune Remove Guild's alliance discount; the ally remains shipper. Ordinary shipment permission remains.
Guild ally cross-planet, including allied Fremen southern reserves The rate is Guild's alliance benefit; discount removal and cancellation of cross-shipment permission must remain separate. The general alliance-cancellation answer supports the permission cancellation, without a dedicated allied-Fremen example.
Fremen ordinary free reserve arrival No Guild discount to remove; do not turn this into paid shipment.
Independently purchased Karama rate Its source is the Treachery card, not Guild's faction advantage. A Guild-rate power cancellation should not erase the independent card benefit. This is source composition, not an explicit two-Karama timing example.

Track power owner, shipper, card owner/beneficiary, and payment contributors separately. A Guild-funded ally is still the ally's shipment, using Guild's alliance benefit. Cancellation of income changes the recipient of payment; it does not double the fee. Discount cancellation changes the fee; it does not redirect the remaining legitimate Guild income.

Homeworld advantages have their own Karama immunity and are outside this ordinary-shipment audit; do not extend these rules to that gated module by analogy. GF9 Ecaz & Moritani, p. 10

Material unresolved timing

The retrieved publisher sources do not state whether a declared shipment can be reduced, redirected, replaced or declined after cancellation makes it unaffordable. They do not specify whether that attempt consumes shipment, whether another declaration can regain the discount, or how a prior independent rate card is treated if transport itself is stopped. Do not present an automatic refund, retry, forced debt, smaller shipment, or full-price reservation prerequisite as an official ruling.

Likewise, no retrieved primary passage orders ordinary rate cancellation against Guild's Advanced shipment-stop declaration, a second payment-contributor choice, or a newly played independent rate card. The base Advanced Guild power stops a shipment; it is not the ordinary discount cancellation. Existing implementation's canceled-special-shipment settlement is already marked provisional and must not silently become authority for this new case.

For the bounded ordinary reserve path, the user’s later instruction to choose the conservative recommended option where no publisher ruling exists is applied above. Other transport, repeated-declaration and combined-response questions retain the source boundaries below until connected.

Initial implementation findings (before the bounded rate response)

  • ship computes a valid discounted quote and exact typed reserve count. Its existing pendingShipment only pauses for Advanced Guild's special shipment-stop choice. Ordinary games call commitShipment directly.
  • commitShipment pays, transfers forces, marks shipment used and generates technology/arrival effects before opening guildIncome. That existing response can redirect income, but is too late for discount cancellation. Reusing it to reprice would require undoing already-settled effects and is unsafe.
  • guildShip validates exact source groups, elites, advisor state and entry, then pays/transfers inline. It needs a normalized pending transport intent if ordinary permission/rate responses are added. Retain exact sectors and unit types; do not reconstruct a different group after a response.
  • Existing payment math correctly sends Guild-funded ally spice to the bank: eligible Guild income subtracts Guild's contribution. The rate helper itself has no new cancellation regression; the absent rate/transport response was a preexisting compliance gap.
  • g.karamaShipping already distinguishes card owner and beneficiary. Keep this independent rate source distinct from Guild's ordinary ability during repricing and resumption.
  • Existing aid is escrowed and visible to the recipient. A changed price can invalidate the recorded contributor split even when the combined budget suffices. Do not silently enlarge another player's authorized contribution beyond their pledged amount, or replace an explicit split without the chosen settlement contract.

Proposed intent fields are shipper ID, source kind and exact force groups, destination/sector, typed amounts/advisor stance, turn/phase, rate source, quoted costs, and chosen ally contribution. Record which one-use windows have resolved, so JSON resume cannot reopen a canceled discount or replay payments. Revalidate custody, legal destination, alliance and contribution before committing once. This is a software proposal, not a stored arbitrary Action or printed rule.

Initial focused acceptance targets

Cover own and allied reserve shipments at both destination prices; odd force counts; cross/return transport separately; free Fremen; independent Karama rates; explicit/default aid splits; Guild versus non-Guild contributors; separate income cancellation; nested Bene Gesserit Worthless conversion and cancellation; JSON reload/stale submissions; unchanged forces/payment/technology before settlement; and exactly one final commit. Include both sufficient and insufficient full-price budgets, but bind the latter tests only after the pending interpretation is selected.

Official indexed PDF passages were verified in the browser and compared with local publisher-authored base/Ix extracts. Direct current GF9 PDF fetching returned 403, so this is not a claim that a newly downloaded binary was checked. Targeted GF9 searches for affordability, changed declarations and refunds found no ruling. Community and tournament variants were not used to fill that gap. No game files or live rooms were modified.
