Current artwork checkpoint — 19 October 2026: 5,636 reviewed pictures / 3,724 complete sequences, including 4,431 Terrain pictures. 117 originals remain: 104 Terrain, 11 enemies/ground objects and two UI/other pictures.
This 23-picture append adds PLATOON6, PERSON12 and five Terrain pictures. PLATOON is dormant catalogue artwork: Rust still lacks the classic secret/ship-computer activation, so no gameplay context is claimed. PERSON has genuine finite SourceG2/H5613 S2W4 ground contexts. Terrain keeps its literal SourceG2/H5596-plus9 captures, with separate finite64 input carries; retained Original faces and functional black support earn no generated-detail credit.
Launcher checks verify 6,449 assets and 5,636 HD frames, zero rejects. Runtime: 11,128 files / 8,748,933,415 bytes. Five staged checks preceded one registrar main. 357 distinct synthetic passes came from 336 + 21 tests, not one fresh 357-test run. SourceG2 binaries, 45 mods and 42 SD/HD briefings are unchanged. Native Windows CI for ff4ebf35 passed at 5,613 pictures; this does not establish native execution of the 5,636-picture pack or complete mission, audio or performance coverage. Earlier evidence and preserved metadata/prelaunch stops retain their scope.

This append approves exactly 17 pictures: unused catalogue Terrain20582, two ridge tiles, four shallow structural tiles, seven destroyed-terrain pictures and three dark-ship pictures. Functional Original details retain separate credit; the unused asset has no invented gameplay context. New SourceG2 intrinsic measurements match the reviewed historical pixels. Older SourceF context captures keep their true epoch, with finite input carries and visible material qualifications recorded separately.
Installed checks pass for all 6,449 catalog assets and 5,613 HD frames with zero rejects. The runtime has 10,885 data files / 8,728,062,352 bytes; 196 additions comprise 191 job files and five Root admission records. All five staged read-only checks passed before one private registrar main. A prior pre-start authoring/metadata stop remains preserved. The maintained HD-tool suite passed 293 synthetic tests. Current SourceG2 binaries, all 45 mods and all 42 SD/HD mission briefings are unchanged by this artwork append. Two actual installed SourceG2 SDL gameplay controls—Original Sector 1 Wave 2 at 180 frames and Sector 3 Wave 5 at 600 frames—exited successfully with empty stderr. Both complete 1920×1080 screenshots were reviewed; the centered 4:3 game frame and sidebars remain intact. These finite controls establish neither visibility of all 17 new pictures nor complete-mission, audible-sound, performance or native Windows results.
The native Windows feature run for commit 2d95e145 succeeded; it remains dated 5,596-picture evidence, not native execution of this 5,613-picture pack. Earlier scene, menu, intro and gameplay results retain their recorded scope. New briefing illustrations add no Original remaster credit; the other five terrain proposals and private infantry work remain unapproved by this append.

This adds corrugated terrain (4), SHIP15G1 (3), STAG03G3 (1), green destroyed terrain (7) and the complete TARGT animation (14).
Terrain uses untouched generated atlases; ship, vehicle and hatch artwork includes declared derived material and retained Original details. Functional Original samples and carried artwork earn no new generated-detail credit. Family records retain finite scene scopes, visible qualifications and the distinction between original pixel captures and later input checks.
Installed validation accepts all 5,596 frames with zero rejects and 45 mods with one override. The assembled folder has 10,449 data files / 8,536,899,084 bytes. The actual maintained-tool suite passed 242 synthetic tests. Three fresh installed SDL controls passed and were personally reviewed; their exact visible scope is recorded with the receipts. SourceF and both game binaries remain unchanged. Earlier checks, held drafts and provider refusals remain archived below; complete Original-art coverage is unfinished. Native Windows evidence remains tied to its recorded commit and artwork count.

This append adds eight selected destroyed Terrain pictures, UI1010c/1010f, only Terrain3050a, and Terrain30112/30113/30119/3011a. Generated parents, derived cleanup and explicitly retained functional Original samples retain separate lineage. Carried registered siblings and Original fallback/held atlas cells do not count as new approved artwork. The finite intrinsic/context/caller scopes and old pixel-versus-input epochs are recorded individually in the ledger; no all-placement, full-mission, seamlessness or performance claim follows.
Actual assembly contains 10,214 data files / 8,493,122,187 bytes. The final receipt separately records 217 new job files and 17 shared evidence files. Historical QA/proof restoration is not new artwork or a new measurement. Old Source/native/provenance prefixes and prior payloads remain exact. The bundled legacy-receipt reader passed 42 actual API reads of 23 unique receipts, including two legacy absolute-path cases with external W access blocked. The source-only V1 archival-route HOLD preceded all real preflight calls; the reviewed V2 ran one actual preflight and one private registrar main with no failed real stage or automatic retry.

The maintained cleanup/registration suite passed 196 synthetic-asset tests after the reviewed legacy-receipt portability fix, including the UI helper. The earlier 180-test run is dated predecessor evidence. The Python registrar resolves authentic legacy QA paths across the supported data roots; old JSON bytes remain unchanged. SourceF18, both binaries, Mission 2 version 1.0.3 and all 45 mods are unchanged. This append adds the complete WORMDN8 family 3001e–30025, the complete SHIP20G2 family 200c4–200c7 and quiet brown Terrain 2039b. Their derived outputs and declared parent lineage remain distinct from untouched generator returns. SHIP20 restores 27 Original logical yellow-tip cells (0/7/13/7 across phases); those Source samples are not generated HD detail.
WORMDN has complete intrinsic and fresh catalogue/caller-absence review, with no invented phase clock, World, Host or shadow. Its continuous folds/opening progression, wetter brighter lip relief, native1 softness and Source-stepped contours remain qualified; stationary derived RGBA equality is not an exact native backing claim. SHIP20 has four consecutive genuine phase endpoints in one actual World, retaining fixed H5521 physical pixels and a separate finite58 actual H5539 input carry. Terrain2039b has two genuine intact positions, one legal settled-neighbor endpoint and one ordered comparison; its fixed H5521 pixels have a separate finite10 H5539 input carry. Twelve reverse contexts remain metadata-only. Quiet dark brown versus brighter sharper neighbors, value/grain rectangles, native1 softness, stronger metal relief and Source tip-step limits remain literal. No all-placement, seamless, full-route survival, current Host or performance claim follows. Old HOLDs/refusals/failures stay unchanged.
Actual assembly contains 9,980 data files / 8,462,418,176 bytes. The 134-file increment is the exact shipped three-job membership, not enclosing private history. Old native headers, Source bindings, artwork and declared runtime payloads remain exact. The first preflight rejected the valid mixed-case SHIP job ID before any stage or registrar main. Root preserved that failure and explicitly authorized a second preflight with the independently reviewed case-safe guard; one private registrar main then succeeded. This was a manual continuation, not an automatic retry or rollback.

This append adds only Terrain: the two selected singletons 2038f and 20390 version 2, plus the complete 16-picture organic forest family 2061d–2062c. All 18 are reproducible Source-guided derived artwork using retained generated-parent material, not untouched generator returns. The 20390 version 2 recipe explicitly declares its two donors; its older held artifact is unchanged.
Different intrinsic/context review covers all 16 forest boards and 16 representative neighborhoods, covering 137 of 377 exact joins among 230 placements; Root sampled four actual-scale intrinsic boards and four context endpoints after viewing all 16 high-resolution preview panes. The two small tiles have 46 genuine contexts and 26 ordered comparison views of five neighbor events; Root sampled four contexts. Those physical pixels retain their fixed H5500 epoch, with separate actual H5521 finite39/finite18 input-equality carries. No all-placement, seamless-join, current Host or performance approval follows. Dark soft forest versus sharper/brighter foreign foliage, brown litter, reflected donor clusters, denser fine grain, native1 quietness and coarse/fine value rectangles remain explicit qualifications. All old HOLDs, failed attempts and provider refusals remain attached to their original artifacts.
Actual assembly contains 9,846 data files / 8,448,665,167 bytes. Exactly 106 new job files (forest53, SAFE2038f26 and SAFE20390V2 27) plus 15 genuine archival JSON receipts (125,486 bytes) form the 121-path increment. All old native headers, artwork and declared runtime payloads remain exact. The 13 historical sibling bindings and eight prior QA receipts were already declared and authenticated at H5521. The 15 additional archive bodies are Root-elected self-contained evidence, not required by registration and not new artwork or QA. Existing W archive bytes/inodes/modes/mtimes and the immutable prior H5521 pack remain unchanged. Small2 uses the SAFE metadata successor and authenticated hash projection of its original inline-image receipt; no artwork or QA was rerun.

Nineteen are reproducible derived cleanups of retained generated parents; 20395 and 20399 reuse the exact reviewed Source-equivalent 203a7 artwork. Derived outputs are not untouched generator returns.
The five Enemy pictures have controlled-pose reviews, not full natural-wave or current Host coverage. The four new-material Terrain pictures have 32 genuine endpoints and five ordered neighbor-event views; Root sampled four endpoints and independent review covers the finite full set. Alias 20395 has eight genuine endpoints and three ordered views of one neighbor event; 20399 remains catalogue-only. 10126 has a Source-authentic legacy ORDER template review, not an executed legacy GUI or current Rust Host screen. ICON22 and WORMLEFT have complete intrinsic/caller-absence review; no Original spawn, clock or World is invented. Literal functional Original samples and static-boundary variation retain their explicit limits and are not generated HD. All earlier material HOLDs, failed attempts and provider refusals remain attached to their original artifacts.
Actual assembly contains 9,725 data files / 8,435,456,792 bytes. The 221-file increment consists of exactly 214 new job files plus seven restored genuine historical QA JSON receipts. Private registrar attempts, including the failed first attempt before canonical writes, remain separately recorded.

This append adds one boss picture (200a2), three Terrain pictures (20400, 20403, 20406), the complete three-frame DSHP20G3 family and the complete eight-frame WORMRITE family. All 15 published PNGs are explicitly derived scripted cleanups of retained generated parents. Their methods preserve continuous generated RGB or coherent parent texture while using Source geometry and declared functional color cues. They are not untouched generator returns.
Boss and Terrain reviews have distinct finite context scopes. The 11 DSHP/WORM catalogue graphics have complete-family intrinsic review and Source caller-absence evidence; that review carries no Original spawn, clock or World occurrence claim. The boss has two historical controlled-pose recompositions. Terrain review covers 39 genuine endpoints and one private self-repeat endpoint for 20400, with 25 ordered comparisons; the private endpoint is not an Original-map occurrence. Earlier WORM, boss and Terrain source-only/v3 HOLDs remain attached to their older artifacts.
Validation accepts all 5,500 frames with zero rejects, plus 45 mods with one override. Three installed-game SDL controls exited successfully and measured identical PNG, RGB and alpha output against H5485 across 6,220,800 pixels. Both the independent reviewer and Root viewed all three complete 1920 × 1080 screens; these controls carry no claim that the new pictures appeared.
The maintained cleanup and registration tools pass 101 tests; the final TARGT guard successor passes 12 separately (113 total). TARGT14 artwork is not admitted by this batch.
SourceF, both binaries, Mission 2 version 1.0.3 and the nine palette opt-ins remain unchanged. The latest closed native Windows result is SourceF H5485 at f9f17e35: 401 passed, 26 ignored and none failed. It is dated evidence for that earlier artwork package. Historical H5485 Source-only study, separate from the new coherent derived outputs: Separate held proposal: the new Source-only study for 20400, 20403 and 20406 remains a material HOLD because coarse rubble and weak olive coverage fail the Source reading. Its successful image call and technical QA add no approved coverage. Earlier holds remain unchanged (author receipt 654fd40d, outside closure 5da4e3b8).
Preserved 17 October 2026 Source-update checkpoint at 5,384 (historical coverage): Current Source C+D runtime — 17 October 2026, published a073f73f: HD coverage remains 5,384 frames / 3,551 sequences, with 369 originals remaining (260 Terrain, 75 enemies/ground objects, 33 UI/other, one boss). Both executables are rebuilt; 90 Rust / 78 Python tests, HD validation and three exact 1080p regression controls pass. Five old Rust checks remain ignored. Source C+D native Windows CI is pending; the prior 58723547 result (361 passed / 26 ignored / zero failed) is a different epoch. Earlier material, context and QA records below remain historical; this source update adds no art approval.
Preserved pre-Source-C document-freeze observation: The external and assembled shared runtime pack contains 5,384 reviewed original picture frames / 3,551 complete sequences, including 4,275 Terrain pictures. 369 of 5,753 original pictures remain: 260 Terrain, 75 enemies/ground objects, 33 UI/other and one boss. This six-frame append adds Boss 200ba, Terrain 2039a and the complete four-frame TANK03G3 family 3007c–3007f in three native sequences / three unchanged raw PNGs. Five hybrid frames explicitly retain 207 Original logical cells: 11 in 200ba and 50/48/49/49 across Tank phases; those cells are not generated HD. All previous 5,378 bindings and the full 3,548-header prefix remain exact, including canvas, origin, crop and optional-field presence. The assembled data contains 9,335 files / 8,179,315,857 bytes. Actual CLI validates all 5,384 frames with zero rejects and 45 mods/one override (2f3ab585). Source18 and both binaries remain unchanged at API-B; future Source-C work is not the current runtime. Different reviews cover one genuine 200ba pose, all four naturally observed Tank phases and exactly two 2039a contexts; no all-placement or seamless-road claim follows. Visible 2039a edge and texture steps remain qualified, and the other 14 road tiles remain held. Previous 5,378 publication is remote-confirmed at 9ba0a5c7. The sole addition is Boss300a0, a reviewed hybrid with three retained Original cells (22,39), (55,15), (55,16); those cells are not generated HD. Its untouched raw, 56×40 native canvas, zero origin and absent crop remain exact, as do all earlier 5,340 bindings and the full 3,513-header prefix. The catalog also contains 303 AGX cinematic delta frames in 13 sequences and 4 bitmap fonts. These have explicit native-art preservation policies: keep the classic cinematics and sharp original glyphs, validate complete playback/alignment, and never count them as generated HD replacements. The AGX frames are separate from standalone pictures.
Sequence priorities
- Keep all light/dark-player banking poses and firing-flash poses coherent as complete families. Preserve the exact firing-flash source mask, which differs from the light/dark mask for the straight pose.
- Ground defenses, airborne enemies and complete boss animation sequences; share palettes and the original logical canvases, rather than treating each enemy frame as an unrelated illustration.
- Original projectiles and pickup/equipment animations. Tiny projectiles need careful readability checks; per-asset nearest fallback remains temporary until a clean remaster passes review.
- Explosions, flame/spark sequences and other effects. Check full animation timing, transparency and palette cycling, not only a still image.
- All four terrain sets, including unnamed catalog tiles. Generate from exact canonical source tiles or a literal native object assembly; use neighboring context for review rather than importing foreign scenery into artwork. Verify joined seams and destroyed-state pairs before changing runtime coverage.
- Every original menu background, portrait, HUD and retained unused picture. Gameplay UI text and button labels must remain readable and match their actions. Verify the preserved native cinematic/font paths separately.

The JSON gives every picture's asset ID, path, logical dimensions, original header options, source hash and HD status, plus each declared animation/set. The completion ledger records every required picture and native-art verification target, including complete families, ownership and candidate/review/registration stages. Both contain metadata only. Working originals, source references and generation/review drafts under ../data remain outside this repository. The bundled original catalog and approved HD runtime snapshot under data/ are tracked in Git; the snapshot is refreshed from reviewed development artwork when packaging.

Secondary effect coverage
Native animation registrations, pickup masks and beam impact/power companion arrays contribute 281 distinct effect frames. The 25 declared ranges include one five-frame descending-smoke subset of the nine-frame smoke family, leaving 24 complete families. This includes muzzle flashes/casings, laser impacts, smoke trails, lightning, sparks and the super-shield glow as well as explosions. Pickup glow uses indexed light-table mask semantics and needs a different HD treatment from an ordinary color sprite. Runtime reachability and duplicate artwork
The terrain backlog contains 4,524 distinct payload hashes and 4,524 distinct decoded images across 4,535 catalog IDs. Duplicate IDs can share the same reviewed treatment; they still require explicit source-bound metadata. The canonical HD terrain renderer is validated: intact/destroyed source-bound tiles, shared HD edge/corner treatment and palette-class preservation are implemented. This adds no artwork coverage; each generated tile still requires its own contextual seam review.
The Python inventory matches the Rust decoder's complete picture ID and logical-dimension inventory. The shipped 27 missions reference 512 of 528 enemy definitions, which reduce to 260 of 262 distinct art sequences, and 4,217 terrain frames, including destroyed variants. Enemy names may alias the same artwork; the category table counts each asset ID once and the sequence count deduplicates identical base/frame ranges.
Closed 2240 admission and current proof
Batch 2240 adds 108 originals in 17 complete candidate jobs / 77 manifest sequences: six complete terrain families (203cd–203ec, 302bd–302cc, 302ed–302fc, 403d5–403f4), complete Micro Missile2 (101c1–101c2), eight opaque UI/catalog originals, SHIPCOMP 1010d and the genuine full-canvas HANGER 1010a successor. Coverage is 2,240 / 5,753 pictures, 952 complete sequences, 1,376 terrain pictures and 3,513 unregistered originals. All old 2,132 frame bindings remain exact. Selected genuine raws and sibling candidates remain unchanged; explicit canonical metadata promotions preserve every prior candidate/job/review byte.

The earlier false allscale-green claim is corrected through separate root qualification; its independent hold is preserved. Full words, margins and HANGER pillars/doors/floor remain intact. Original fallback art is not approved by association. No seamless/universal terrain, live Host/timing/UI occurrence or catalog-completion claim follows.
The closed 307 native preservation records are separate from all 5,753 required HD pictures. Receipt 09540020f050604d9ebf20dacf94c178e91589f62178ea74e95bef8f72c76dfe verifies 303 AGX deltas and four original bitmap fonts: 280 deltas are displayed, LANDING 100dd controls a native fade, and the 22 SPACE deltas were originally unused. Host loads SYSTEM 10001 and FONT2 10004; GAME 10002 was originally unused. FONT1 10003 appears in 24 original SWD fields but current UI styling substitutes its use. These ledger rows now read native_preserved, with remaster_required: false and HD_remastered: false; they add no generated-art coverage or inferred Host route.

Four closed technical authorities cover only genuinely changed compositions: Terrain1 safe41 (106 compositions at 1–4, 59 complete pages viewed), Terrain2 approved tail112 (1,159 compositions at 1–4, 136 complete pages viewed), original Terrain2 artifact Original25 (eight new cases at 1–4, eight comparison pages viewed), and Set4 Originals62/63 (212 compositions at 1–4, 54 complete pages viewed). Its additive two-ground-approval receipt records the subsequently closed 20055/20058 peers without rewriting that snapshot. This census with its two-ground addendum records 1,739 explicit material positives needing exact selection/context/admission, 165 successful drafts needing a different peer, 408 concrete holds, 224 allocated first-initial work, 32 legacy grid/service failures without standalone art, 12 reviewed component-authority gaps and eight permanent no-raw refusals. Allocated first-initial work may already contain private successful calls; canonical status is not private progress.
Material positives inside held terrain families require exhaustive standalone selected/original-fallback partitions and changed-context proof. The eight qualified later MOLE frames remain in a held animation and cannot be partially admitted. The held 404d2 raw also has a permanently refused successor, separately from the eight no-raw refusal rows. Old whole-family holds and historical library/native-scale limits remain literal.
